Deep ruby red with red brim. Nose is pleasant, fruity, with notes of bramble, mulberries, herbs and some black currants and licorice. Mouthfeel is fruity, somewhat austere, mineral, medium bodied plus, with fine-grained tannins, nice acidity and notes of bramble, mulberries, herbs and some black currants and licorice.
Quite typical Pibarnon here, if possibly a touch more austere and mineral than other vintages, but this will most probably loosen up with some more time in bottle. It's however drinking well, and it's very promising for the future! A great wine.

Anniversary Dinner at Demi (Demi, Mpls): Very dark red color. Drank a glass over 20 minutes, from the reserve wine pairing at Demi. About 90% Mouvedre. Blackberry, black cherry, plum, anise, dried wood. On the palate, dark, wood, red berries, blackberry compote, pepper, ripe, a touch of heat. Very good already - more upside.

Nose: blackberries and dusty earth, salty ocean. Palate: barely ripe dark, dark cherries, weighty mouthfeel with a chalky grittiness that persists; powerful, chewy tannins. Tried this next to a 2019 Tempier and the fruit was darker and while more tannic, it came off as more refined and less "animal". Both were exceptional examples of young red Bandol.

Dense opaque - nice fresh blackberry and prune and minty herbals - powerful tannins though fruit filled enough to enjoy in its youth with food.

Medium+ nose intensity with black fruits, cassis, spices. Medium+ acidity, high tannin and long finish.
