  Wish I could try it with more age. Fineness of tannins and overall structure were quite nice; more concentration of flavor would elevate.

  Apero in reynier with my friend Patrice. Deep purple color. Mushroom, sous bois/Forest floor, clean red fruit and slight black pepper on the nose. Med acidity, full body, high alcohol, med flavor intensity, dry tannins and med finish. Nice red fruits, greenness, creamy mouth, light black pepper, very balanced and drinking very well already. Nice lingering salinity. Excellent 👌

  Tasted blind along with the 1998. A marginally meaty touch along with nice sweet spicey notes and abundantly floral. The fruit was brighter at first impression, but actually pretty blue in nature. The balance is lacking for now and the palate rather wild. There could be upside if the palate integrates over the next few years.
