Estate-bottled, bought on release; very fresh, sweet, slightly bretty nose; blue/red fruits, liqueur, bright cherries, truffles; very much alive with a lot of complexity and presence on the palate; impressive

Light floral nose and dry dark fruit on the palate, but overall a rather short wine.

At Roberson 1961 Bordeaux horizontal. Murky, pond nose. Initial fruit tones, then medicine, cinnamon bark, dusty tannins. Long finish.
