What a great tasting put on my Larry and Wil of the Wine Company. The 08s are as good as the critics have stated and I expect to see high scores from the Cellar Tracker community on these wines.
The White Rose again shines as the wine of the night but the Temperance is the best QPR in the bunch and a case is a must. Thanks again to Larry and Wil for putting the event together.
2008 St. Innocent Pinot Gris Vitae Springs Vineyard 90 Points
USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley
One of the best Pinot Gris wines I have tasted from Oregon. Floral, mineral, orange and tropical fruit dominate the aroma and flavor of the wine. Good acidity and medium finish.

A really nice wine with shell, lemon, sublte oak and chalk on the nose. The palate adds orange peel and a touch of vanilla. Good concentration and well balanced.

2008 St. Innocent Pinot Noir Temperance Hill Vineyard 94 Points
USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley, Eola - Amity Hills
A super deal with a retail of only $30. Buy a case! On the nose wafers, spice, forest floor and raspberries. The palate is showing really well and matches the nose to a T. Medium finish and acidity is lively. A must purchase.

Spice, truffles, forest floor and cherry. The palate picks up minerals. Overall a nice wine but not in the league of the Temperance.

2008 St. Innocent Pinot Noir Justice Vineyard 94 Points
USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley, Eola - Amity Hills
A super wine. Very Burg like with a funky nose along with violets, burnt earth, and strawberries. The palate is big with sublte oak, funk, violets, burnt earth and a nice perfume quality. Medium finish and the flavors are really active. A cellar selection for sure.

White pepper, strawberries, violets and roses on the nose. The palate is full of flavors and a medium finish. Complex for sure and should age well.

2008 St. Innocent Pinot Noir White Rose Vineyard 96 Points
USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley
The gold standard from St. Innocent. Floral, white pepper, chalk and strawberries on the nose. The palate is just amazing and shows off the terroir. Long finish and concentrated. The wine is perfectly balanced and will age for a decade or more. Wine of the year???

A really nice wine with floral, funk, rapsberry and minerals. Certainly some Burgundy qualities to the wine. Good structure and a relative bargain for under $30.

2007 St. Innocent Pinot Noir Momtazi Vineyard 92 Points

A nice wine with plum, raspberries, spice and forest floor. A perfume quality enters into the finish and the wine is a drink me sooner than later style.
