Fantastic wine for $15, with a slate nose, and I picked up just a hint of funk. The palate was full of lime and slate minerality, nice acid structure and a lengthy sweet finish.
Menthol notes take overwhelm both the nose and palate. There's a bit of cedar along for the ride, but overall this is over the hill having lost all of its fruit.
Notes of bing cherry and cedar come through along with a bit of brick dust, but it turned bitter towards the end & the group overall thought it was past its prime, otherwise I would potentially score it in the mid-80s.
Barnyard and red cherry notes on the nose and initial attack, but the midpalate is completely hollow. Light tannins come through towards the end, but disappointing overall.
Menthol on the nose, a big dose of tannins and a hint of blueberry on the palate with underlying acidity, but almost all of the fruit has disappeared. Would likely score it in the upper 80s, but it probably would have been better a couple of years ago.
Honeyed nose featuring apricot and peach notes, which continue on the palate; full and sweet leading into a butterscotch finish. Complex and very enjoyable.

Toasty nose, with a hint of green apple. Very acidic, with citrus and green apple on the palate. Pleasant finish.

Lots of nuts and petrol coming through. Just a hint of grass towards the end was the only sign that this is a sauvignon blanc. Intriguing wine.

Sweet and sour, with a lime on both the nose and palate. Acid up front, then its sweetness emerges, but keeping an acidic backbone throughout.

Red cherry and earthy aromas on the nose, but the palate was thin and lacked any substantial flavors or structure.

Aromas of raisins and spice; nutmeg maybe? Flavors of chocolate, raisin and spice. Tannins are present, but it's hollow overall.
