All wines were tasted not blind.
Barnyard and soft ripe cherries in the bouquet. On the palate cherries and red currants. Soft tannin and a good balance. Medium long finish. Although mature there is still much life in the wine. No hurry finishing your bottles.

Chocolate and herbs in the bouquet. Juicy alright, but the tannin is a bit harsh. Ripe as well as unripe blackberries in the taste. While 1986 is a superb Bordeaux vintage, this is the second time this Languedoc wine of this vintage disappoints.

A little darker than the 1990. Beautiful and complex bouquet; mature, smoky, little barnyard, herbs. Beautiful juice with chocolate, cigar, cassis. The tannin is a bit drying but fits beautifully in the wine as a whole. Very well balanced wine. Ready now but still enough power for the future.

This wine is less great as the one I tasted last year. Compared to the 1989 I tasted beside it, this wine is more alcoholic and edgy. Still a beautiful wine with laurel and ripe fruits.

Beautiful mature bouquet with smoky and coffee scents. Ripe red fruits. Spicy. The tannin is soft and a bit drying.

Beautiful smoky and mature bouquet. Very juicy wine with ripe cherries and blackberries. The bouquet as well as the taste makes you think you are in an autumn forest. Soft bitterness in the finish. Beautiful wine.

Less expressive bouquet than the 1998. Some eucalyptus and peppermint. Ripe fruits and smoky impressions on the palate. Firm tannin. Will improve with a few more years of ageing.

Animal smells, laurel and ripe cassis in the bouquet. Juicy and round and a lot of concentration and fruits. Earthy tones. Spreads through the whole mouth. Great wine. Still youthful, but already very pleasant drinking.

Complex and juicy bouquet with some pleasant barnyard and cedar. Juicy in the taste as well with ripe and soft tannin and a firm amount of good bitterness. Very well balanced wine which is a beauty already and still keeps a promise for the future as well.

The color is more concentrated than the 2000, but overall the wine offers less complexity at the moment. A lot of good ripe fruits and still very primary and youthful. It is in an open stage at the moment.

Cherry fruits and some metal in the bouquet. Very young and full bodied. Although the tannin is very sticky, firm and a bit raw, the wine is round. Give it 5 - 7 years to open up a bit. 89 for now.

Juicy and fruity with a lot of sweetness. Very primary. Not a bad product, but quite one dimensional. Not for the long term.

Clean and fresh bubble. Nothing special though.
