  The DRC 90 vs 89 comparison reminds me of the Bordeaux 90 vs 89 vintage comparison. The 89 DRC is a bit more intense and structured than the 90. Great depth but could use slightly more length compared to the 90. Signature smokey nose.

My preference was for the Jayer in the more recent years but DRC truly came into its own in the older vintages. Overall an unforgettable line-up of fantastic wines.
