This is a Carinyena that spent 14 months in oak
The wine shows a very welcoming nose, alcohol heat (145) but also sweet, red and black fruits, sweet oak.
The wine shows the same profile in the palate too, a bit of alcohol, big but not aggressive tannins, medium body and finish. Very good quality, would be better with food

The wine shows bright ripe red fruit, light tannins, mineral, low to medium acidity, the palate is smooth, red fruits, easy drinking, 13.5% alc which I’m guessing is medium to low for Priorat, medium finish.

The wine shows a beautiful clear colour.
The wine shows a clean nose, full irony and bloody, fruit, a bit hot from the 15% alcohol.

Amazing wine tasting of Celler Cal Pla wines inside the winery right in the village of Porrera, Priorat.

The wine is a blend of 50% Garnacha Blanc from vines over 30 years of age, Xarel-lo, and Piquepoul aged for 8 months in French and hungarian oak. The vineyards are in slate soil with 350-500 m altitude, oriented mainly to north-west.

The wine is quite different in style from the 2007 tried before, the wine feels more oily but equally impressive, mineral and oaky, showing again very ripe quince, ripe and dried citrus fruit, lemon, depth, long finish. If given blind, I would have said Meursault

The wine is full on impressive again as were the 05,07 and 15 tried before. The wine is still trying to shed the oak cloak, nutty and ripe citrus fruit
The wine shows equally good palate, rich with lemon, citrus, quince, nice acidity, bright and lively, definitely not looking like a 10yo wine, nutty flavoured long finish
Outstanding quality again here. Its crazy to see such a clear vintage variation of these 4 whites but in the same time maintaining the essence of Priorat, of the winery and showing such outstanding quality
