Color was a nice honey-yellow color, nice small effervescent bubbles upon pouring. The nose was still quite lively, with fresh pear, crisp yellow apple, citrus, peach, and brioche. Palate had nice acidity, no tannin, dry, gentle tingle from carbonation that quickly faded on the tongue, mellow alcohol. Palate was consistent with pear, peach, citrus, gooseberry, and a finish with vanilla that surprised me. Medium length. Overall a very pleasant wine, I would buy again. It seems to be drinking well right now, but may develop some more tertiary notes if you wanted to wait and see in a few more years. I enjoyed and would buy again.

Leesy with toast, honey, even French toast in overall effect, some lemon. The carbonation is less lively than some and the M to M+ body gives it a creamy feel though it’s very dry. M acid. This is neither a very rich nor a highly acidic/fresh Cava, and there’s little complexity. The basic quality is good but it’s pretty middle of the road and there are so many outstanding values in Cava that this doesn’t stand out at all. I paid $37 and I wouldn’t pay that again; if this were $20-25 I’d probably buy again as a budget brunch wine. This was good with Spanish tortilla but would be great with French toast. ~6-6.5/10

Excited to drink this producer. Almond croissant with a stewed fruit glaze on the nose. Palette is like you drank briney sea water then popped a jumbo marshmallow and some Fuji apple. Some aged manchego in there somewhere. Drinking quite well right now but nothing wham bam out of control about it either.

Krotida Wine Trip to Priorat & Barcelona; 9/29/2019-10/2/2019: The wine is a blend of 58% Macabeu, 39% Xarrel-lo, 3% Parellada, 47 months in oak. The wine is very clean and bright in both nose and palate, lemon notes, the oak is barely noticeable which is strange for such a long maturation in it, nice body, creamy, nice acidity and a long finish with a slight vegetal bitterness

Charleston Food & Wine Festival IV (for us... XV for the rest I think); 3/5/2020-3/8/2020 (Charleston, SC (various locations)): Cava made with a more thoughtful approach. First impression was a hint of barnyard and more specifically the hayloft. It's very soft and very light. Easy drinking, good acidity. Not a wine that you can really ponder as there's not that much there, but it does sortof melt away.
