Served with "Risotto" of New Potatoes with Butter Poached Rabbit and Mousserons
Pale/medium straw yellow. Fresh nose showing sesame seed, hazelnut, cittrus fruit. Some floral notes. Long, fresh and balanced on the palate with plenty of fresh fruit still and attractive nuttiness on the long finish. Lovely. ****

Medium gold. Closed at first (perhaps served a touch cold), showing ripe stone fruit as it warms but also some nutty, oxidative aromas. Stone fruit and creamy oak on the palate, full bodied, plump, but again oxidative notes - quite advanced. Lacking depth on the mid-palate, long finish though with some orangey acidity. **

Served with Tarte Fine of Cooked and Raw Cepes with Grape Mustard and Pork Fillet
Medium garnet. Intense nose, dark cherry, plum, spice. Attractive slightly bitter iron edge. Serious, with earthy notes. Some sweet fruit showing on the palate, which is butressed by some still quite firm, though not unripe tannin. Good depth and length. Perhaps more Pommard than Volnay but very good nonetheless and should improve. ***(*)

Med/deep garnet/ruby. Couldn't get past cork taint at first. Reveisted later and much improved with lovely ripe strawberry fruit, spice and floral notes. Silky and attractive on the palate too if still a little firm on the finish. ***1/2

Pale/medium garnet, wide rim. Developed nose showing sweet strawberry fruit, floral notes. Understaed, mellow, mature - on the light side with soft, fully integrated tannins and fresh acidity on the gently lingering finish. Understated and very good indeed. ***

Deep dark cherry fruit on the nose. Attractive gamey notes. Serious but with lovely pure, ripe fruit. Slight herbal hint. Medium/full bodied palate, dense and long. Lovely, drinking now but with plenty of time in hand. *****

Developed appearance with pale/medium garnet core, wide pale garnet/mahogany rim. Sweet, smoky nose, with meaty notes. some exotic spice. Someone said smoky bacon which also hits the mark. Sweet, mature and harmonious on the palate - certainly very sweet but not confected or specious. Long and savoury finish. Lovely. *****
