4/7/2024 - JustOneMoreGlass Likes this wine: 92 points92/93. I view this similarly to the By Farr Farrside. A "dirty pinot". I gave the Farrside a 93 but this likely is closer to 92 as I did not find it as complex. Highly enjoyable. Slightly cloudy. I'm not sure it was as precise as the Farrside with the notes here a bit more conjoined. |

4/22/2024 - Wine G Likes this wine: 92 pointsAmazing value, great village level Dundee hills pinot. Had this next to a Thomas and this was a bit more simple and not quite as elevated, but still quite good. Earthy, dried cherry, maybe red rasberry as others noted, some orange peel. nice smooth easy finish that lingers for a bit. |

4/19/2024 - wlsch Likes this wine: 92 pointsPnP. Dark cherry, some raspberry, lower level earth/loam, some spice. Medium body, good acidity, well integrated tannins. Doesn't have the reduction/funk notes a lot of young Cameron wines have. I agree 100% with Oropeza that while is really good and fun now, it'd be best to let this one sit in the cellar. I'll see if I can hold off until 2027, but my guess is this will go at least 10 years from the vintage. |

4/15/2024 - oropeza Likes this wine: NRDark cherry in front of earth and big acidity. Wound up on day 1, by day 3 it was ready to go with some complex herbal notes in the core, though still very primary and assertive. I tend to like these around years 5-7 and I think this is fun now but will be fantastic by 2027ish. |

4/13/2024 - Matteo1 wrote: 92 pointsThe most flavorful rendition of this wine in recent memory, with lemon, hazelnuts and salted caramel. The acetic acid is noticeable this year and really comes across on the palate with significant almost an effervescent acidic lift. But as is the fruit is excellent and handles it well. Hopefully it's stable here and doesn't become more pronounced. |

4/10/2024 - Aravind Asok wrote: NRBeen a while since my last btl. Decanted (wide-bottom decanter with lots of swirling yesterday); fair amount of reduction up front, but went away with an hour open. Notes from 24 hrs open. On the nose: wild strawberry, pomegranate molasses, cinnamon, clove, so much going on. On the palate: fantastic acidity, broader and darker than I remember this being; more black fruit and soft stems. Lovely soft tannin on the close. Much better than my last showing, which was already very good. |

4/4/2024 - 560 B&W Likes this wine: 92 pointsPnP at Heirloom. I didn't pick up on any of the smoke notes that others observe. It has the fascinating combination of low alcohol but relatively ripe characteristics: 12.7% but solid mid+ body. Quite interesting and would be curious to follow in a couple years. 1 person found this helpful, do you? Yes - No / Comments (1) |

4/2/2024 - Deaddeadwine Does not like this wine: NRRipe. No sense of varietal or place. I made a friend (a seasoned wine/food aficionado) taste this blind and he completely guessed incorrectly the varietal, continent, EVERYTHING about the wine. And I don't fault him - I would have gotten it wrong, as well. |

3/31/2024 - 831900_ Likes this wine: 96 pointsI think this wine is every bit as great as my prior tasting note. I did want to add: there's a fair bit of reduction, and it takes quite a while to dissipate. |

3/30/2024 - Nutty08 Likes this wine: 93 pointsStill reductive initially upon open but smoothed out after couple hours. Black cherry fruit with a dusting of spice notes. Quite shy on the nose but there’s a nice core of fruit on the palate. Stately rather firm tannins still present that really show up on the finish. Last glass after 3-4hrs air was the best, with a fine spicy herbal quality that I suspect is whole cluster influence. |

3/22/2024 - AllRed wrote: 80 pointsOur final bottle, perhaps held a little too long or perhaps just variation as a wine ages. Notes of bruised apple on the nose and palate suggesting just a little bit of oxidation. Not undrinkable, as there are flashes of fresher fruit here and there, along with a nice little streak of minerality. Okay; nothing more. I wouldn't want to hold these any longer. |

Not “where are my socks,” but good. I’m happy with my now five bottles. I’ll revisit this over the next couple years - I don’t see any particular upside or downside over the next 5 years. |

3/6/2024 - Oregonnative wrote: 95 pointsStunning Cameron. Still primary but edges are softer. Bouquet is red fruit dominant. Great concentration, mid palette weight and texture, long finish with refreshing acidity. Spicy which I think is partially a vintage characteristic but gives a whole cluster feel (im pretty sure there isn’t any). Red fruited. A touch of Cameron funk but in no way distracting and is mostly gone day 3. Very satisfying. The highs are high. 95+. Not sure if there is upside but should be in this window for quite awhile. |

3/1/2024 - wlsch Likes this wine: 92 pointsPnP. Dark berry fruit, black cherry, earth, some forest floor. Has the Cameron funk, but it's in more of a supporting role than an overwhelming character. I was only able to get a single bottle of this when it came out (and it's only the second vintage of the Ribbon Ridge cuvee), so I figured it was smarter to open it a bit early than waiting too long. This is drinking well, but it can clearly go several more years. I kjust a touch of alcohol warmth now the Cameron Dundee Hills wines far better, but this does have the darker fruit you expect in Ribbon Ridge and the Cameron house style. Medium body, medium acidity, integrated tannins, there's a tiny bit of what seem like alcohol warmth in the finish, but the label only says 12.9%. Overall, this is a delightful wine that shows the Ribbon Ridge character and likely would be best in a few more years, but it's also a terrific right now. If I had more, I'd wait 2-3 years, but I don't really regret opening my only bottle now. |
