Pretty good, but there is nothing about this that strikes me as exceptional or even notable. Seems to have enough structure for the long term, but after five plus years hasn't yet reached its potential. Last bottle, and my scores have been generous.

Takes about an hour to open up, but is well worth the wait. I enjoyed with loaded Nachos. Works great with spicy foods. This works as a cocktail wine after it opens up. I can’t overstate the wait.

Appearance: Clear wine with a medium purple colour.

Nose: Clean nose with a Medium intensity. This wine is youthful.

Did not expect the nose at all; intensely floral and almost kirschy/bubblegum like. Carbonic maceration at work here? Strawberries, violets.. simple and fun.

Palate:
Dry
Medium+ acidity
Medium tannins
Medium+ alcohol
Medium- intensity
Medium- body
Short finish

The same red fruit on the palate with some spice but unfortunately overpowered by the alcohol. No finish to speak of and there is also a slightly undesirable herbal note towards the end. A shame.

Fair quality Malbec from Mendoza, Argentina. Drink now and at 8 euros, below average QPR.

very dark colour of black cherries with purple rim. nose: very jammy - sweetprunes; velvety and very pleasant. taste: full bodied; strong structure with quite low acidity and delicate tannins - that creats good balance. dryness in the finish - unstoned cherries. The only drawback is the alco that is detectable. Abyway good bottle.

A very good intense, complex and fruity Malbec blend. A little pricey for Argentina (meaning that you can get equally good wines for somewhat less) but still a very good value by international standards. 18 months in French oak makes it good for oak-lovers (like me), and it has the varietals that stand up to that (Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Tannat).

This wine is almost Portlike. Deep red, full and heavy mouthfeel, jammy and rich. Warm spice notes, long finish. Perfect for sipping on a cold night like this.

(American) Oak and alcohol on high level, somewhat exaggerated. Opens up in the glass, resulting in roundness. After 20-30 min it slightly fades. Nice wine though.

The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are slow. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like blackberry and black currant (cassis). It tastes like prune, raisin, medium toast and oak. The body is medium/full. The wine has silky texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has medium acidity.

young and tough with the tannat grape sticking out in the tannins. Taste is bold but lacks any real complexity and doesn't deserve a higher score at the moment.

Nice to compare to someone from out of Country...Yeh, Brazil! So in CAN - this is ~24$ (slight above average price) and popular line in MLCC. I've tried most of last few vintages and this rings true still. Yes, will hold and likely mature a little bit over next few years out till 2018+. Nose is dark inky fruit. Palate is med+ bodied with light and smoothish tannin/acid. Fruit is dark berry with smoke/ash on med/late palate. Complex (more adjectives than i commented on no doubt) and I think given age and overall package, once again something i would suggest is worthy of a case purchase to enjoy over coming years....

Red blend - Malbec, Cab Sauv, and Tannat @14.5% alcohol. Intense red color, modest nose, but good red fruit taste. Still young and needs more time to mellow. Purchased in Vitoria Brazil - so lower cost compared to USA.

The QPR for this wine is off the charts - lots of blueberries and blackberries, chocolate, good structure and depth, finishes smoothly and just lingers. Reminds me of Spring mountain Merlot or cab franc - cannot beat it for the price.

Decent QPR for this. Nose is deep, dark and full of dark cherry note. Palate is med acid, med- tannins and smooth drinking. A little to much of a fruit bomb (pulls this off though) for me. Dark cherry covered fruit, some chocolate and some smoke...need to serve this a little cool.

Note this tasting note is for the Septima Obra Cabernet Sauvignon. 14.5%, but very plush and refined. Gorgeous oak integration is a feature of this delicious wine. Very ribena in character. This had complexity, and depth but perhaps could have more layers. slight nuttiness on the finish. I like this for its style. Certainly not NZ, USA or Aussie in style. Nice proportion is the compelling aspect of the wine.

Deep dark red. Fairly concentrated wine with black fruits and a touch of sweetness and metal. There is good and firm tannin as well as ok acidity. Ok wine, ready now and approx the next 2 - 3 years.
