7/23/2023 - Jamesd23 Likes this wine: 94 pointsThis is the single best Petit Chablis I have ever tasted. The 2022 vintage shows maturity you usually wait four or five years for with a Chablis. Excellent minerality but it's integrated so well with roundness that I have yet to see in a P.C. If blind tasting I would guess this was a 2018 Chablis 1er cru, maybe Fourchaume, which had definitely seen some old oak. I visited this domaine on a whim because I saw it was a Kermit Lunch affiliate, and I was not disappointed. An absolute steal |

2/8/2024 - Woodbridge Brad Likes this wine: 93 pointsThis wine had me on the first sniff and closed the deal on the first sip. Tart and lemony, hints of toasty yeast, great linger, rich and supple. A very reasonable value at $26. Bought some |

10/15/2021 - xyc Likes this wine: 93 pointsLovely light golden hue, faint nose, luscious siken entry, glycerin mouthfeel, complex mix of soft pineapple ever so slightly tart lemon curd with hint of bitter apricot pit. Delicately full bodied but charming, this Chablis is atypical and serving temperature will affect the taste, colder = drier, warmer = softer. |

10/13/2020 - dlwinecellar Likes this wine: 93 pointsYellow apple, extended battonage, first time with this producer and i’m impressed. Excellent viscosity, chalk & stone mineral. Nervy with a long finish. Love the balance on this. |

6/29/2023 - whits Likes this wine: 93 pointsserious Chablis with crushed seashell and citrus on the nose and palate, dry and crisp with deep lemon nuances, big-time mineral wine, built with structure to age, youthfully bright and energetic, a beam of acidity shines through, long, tart finish, this is how it is done, wonderful, food-friendly |

2/11/2022 - Crew Beaujolais Boys Likes this wine: 93 pointsDelicious, but doesn’t taste like Chablis because of the oak. Started out slightly bretty with a low intensity aroma and the usual suspects: Quince leaning on apple, chalk, apple, strange green herbs, nothing interesting. But once it opened up a little and got slightly warmer: Lily petals, clotted cream, lemon zest, high-toned, lees-y. Richer and rounder than a typical Chablis so it drinks better a little warmer than typical. |

2/27/2021 - oldwines Likes this wine: 93 pointsDouble decanted, brought to a friend’s house and tasted over several hours with some saved for tomorrow. Beautifully balanced and very mineral driven. Somewhat closed initially. Energetic and layered with a superb sense of tension yet full of flavors like citrus peel, crushed stone, white stone fruit and such a smooth elegant long finish. Best with a couple hours open. More observations to come tomorrow with the third of a bottle remaining. |

Great cut and purity with a textured and lacy mouthfeel and a balanced complexity capturing a classic Chablis freshness. Aromas of crushed stones and candied lemons with stones and white-fruited flavor on the mouth and just a hint of salinity. |

9/17/2018 - smphelps wrote: 92 pointsObviously a bit of an outlier but, frankly, I found this wine to be totally elegant, with long but subtle chardonnay flavors, and a real deft hand on the oak and malo. A real steal at this price point (and a model for me for what the folks doing chardonnay in the Jura ought to aspire to). |

4/10/2022 - gagz135 wrote: 92 pointsThis is drinking superbly right now. It is exactly what you’d want in this price point from a Chablis. Received as part of the Kermit Lynch monthly shipment and will be searching for more to enjoy during the summer! Great minerality, floral but not overly so, light and can hold up to grilled meat. A great summer quaffer. Do you find this review helpful? Yes - No / Comments (1) |

10/7/2011 - Matt Scott wrote: 92 pointsPopped and poured. straw and golden in colour. Vanilla wafers, melon, lemon zest, pebbles and flint; showing a smokey palate with all of the other nuances. Light acidity and a smoothness that just makes each sip a simple pleasure. A sanctified and long finish from a village blend that is very identifiable - seeming to be of a single vineyard. Drink now - 2014. |

5/12/2018 - Snoman Likes this wine: 92 pointsWow, a terrific Chablis that's everything a Chablis should be for $30. Not requiring salty oysters, it was a perfectly balanced effort with enough fruit density, acidic snap and tasty touch of vanilla on the finish to turn any Chardonnay-hater into a fan, by showcasing the pretty tropical fruit elements of the grape in the best possible way: no overoakiness, nor off-putting butterscotch/honeyed flavors to get in the way of your dining or enjoyment of a noble grape. Going back for more, for sure. |

10/8/2019 - jlhkiss Likes this wine: 92 pointsMuch improved since last tasting. Let open for 4+ hours in the fridge. Rounding out and fattening up to offset the hard acidity and minerality, this is supple and tight on entry but opens into a seashell/limestone 45-second finish. Green apples, pears, and funky herb on the nose with lemon curd, tangerines, peaches, and traces of butterscotch into the finish. Punches above its weight which is probably why Kermit keeps raising the price on this every year. Drink 2020-2024. Technical score: 92. Enjoyment score: 92. |
