Moss, dried flowers, leather. The minerality, acid, and overall structure has generally held up well, I was surprised. A nice example of aged cru beaujolais. It's making its exit, however -- drink by 2014. |

Palate is silky and dripping with glycerol. Red fruit, spice, rounded tannins, medium acid, medium-long finish that carries the overall balance of the wine.
