Popped and poured. Medium to full bodied. Cherry, orange peel, minerals and floral notes. The wine is fairly full on the mouth, ripe and but nicely balanced. This is quite good but lacks the elegance of the best cuvées.

This really is rose at a different level. Way different. Nose mineral, floral, but also has stone fruit of provence, and some strawberry. Palate shows mix of intense fruit and floral notes, with great acid, big mineral, and a herbal astringency on the finish. This is big, complex, beautiful, and truly rose at a different level. Not a porch sipper.

On the nose- berry fruit is muted. A little funk. On the palette - cherry and strawberry. Still some drying tannins during the finish.

The wine looks lightly rosy colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. Nose is fresh, but no way abundant. Taste is absolutely dry, some orange blossom, nice acidity, elegant, like very light white Rhone, little weight and a suprisingly long aftertaste. Though certainly a fine wine, somehow disappointing at € 56 a bottle: not an overwehelming experience

End of the rosé season (?) with this slightly disappointing cru classee. Fresh red fruit and peach with a modest bunch of spices and minerals. It’s all there but no magic or fireworks like I once encountered in their Provence White.’

A light copper with hints of pink ( oeil de perdrix?) , with definite glycerous legs in the glass. There is a medium nose of white flowers, sea shells, Watermelon, peach puree, marzipan, strawberries, vanilla and rhubarb.Acidity is still medium , with flavours of dry peaches and saline orange, leading into a long finish of dry chalky salinity. A good accompaniment to food, I just don't feel the love for this wine - just too austere and joyless. Maybe, another year will soften the hard edges?

This is really lovely. Enticing peachy, floral nose leads to a lovely waxy spiced vanilla flavour with more honeyed, stoned fruits. Nice graininess to the tannins on the finish which is long with hints of almonds.

Pale Provencal onion-skin pink in apprarance, the nose shows white flowers, peach, flintiness, and warm red berries. Bone dry with some hints of tannin, and medium plus acidity, there are flavours of unripe peach, grapefruit, redcurrants, and Maraschino cherriies , with a dry mineral finish. A refreshing wine for food but uncompromisingly dry and acidiic , making it less suitable to drink on its own. Maybe it will soften a little next year.

Really vibrant wine with pink grapefruit, white peach, and sizzling acidity. A little sparkle/spritz, as well. Priced appropriately at USD$20 from WTSO. "Very good-to-excellent," 90/100.

Nose of peach, mango, and orange blossom. Full-bodied mouthfeel, with fresh acidity under notes of glycerin, light tannin, and old oak. Flavours of peach and lemon, with hints of mandarin and jasmine: like a fruit salad with edible flowers.

- Salmon color - I was ravished about the 2015 at the time, thought the 2016 was very drinkable but the first bottle of the 2017 disappointed. To be clear, I am referring to a bottle of the chateau branded Equipage. Sharp in the mouth but not crisp, a bit chemical rather than jammy, some bitterness.

Not as finely poised as a Whispering Angel or M de Minuty; refreshingly dry, redcurrants, lemon, lime, grapefruit. Slightly hot in the mouth despite only being 13% abv with some bitterness on the finish

WSET Level 2 - Day 1 (Pialligo Estate, Canberra, ACT, Australia): Clear pale pink with tears.

Clean youthful nose with a medium(-) intensity. There is a distinct aroma of strawberry (almost like the strawberry cream lollies), and a subtle lime note.

The wine is dry with medium acidity, medium alcohol, and medium body. The low level tannins are soft and do not hold. The flavours have a medium intensity and follow the nose with notes of strawberry and lime zest. There is a white pepper character that was not detected on the nose. The finish has a medium length.

This is a good quality wine. While the aromas are quite restrained, the flavours are reasonably concentrated and have a great balance with the acidity and a reasonable balance with the alcohol. The heat from the alcohol builds on the finish. The soft tannins fade quickly and seem to be dominated by the acidity in a refreshing manner. The wine is simple, only showing primary characteristics. The finish has a good length.

This wine drinks well now, and should be consumed before the next vintage.

Decent enough common-or-garden provencale rose. It has a touch more heft and sweetness on the palate that I usually care for with a slightly confected finish. Decent enough though - but I prefer them leaner and fresher than this.

I had this around early summer at French wine tasting and loved it, wanted to keep it for later in the summer fall for a specific event. The event got postponed by a year and then didn't get used (really convoluted story). I finally got this out recently, maybe around June 2016, and light must have gotten to it at some time. And it is now trying to be salvaged with some ripe pineapple and peaches to see if I can get anything from it.

But the half bottle I had at the tasting was fabulous!!!
