4/19/2024 - mclanew wrote: 90 pointsPopped and poured. Medium to full bodied. Cherry, orange peel, minerals and floral notes. The wine is fairly full on the mouth, ripe and but nicely balanced. This is quite good but lacks the elegance of the best cuvées. |

3/19/2024 - lake.vino Likes this wine: 93 pointsThis really is rose at a different level. Way different. Nose mineral, floral, but also has stone fruit of provence, and some strawberry. Palate shows mix of intense fruit and floral notes, with great acid, big mineral, and a herbal astringency on the finish. This is big, complex, beautiful, and truly rose at a different level. Not a porch sipper. |

12/1/2022 - pemazel Likes this wine: 87 pointsThe wine looks lightly rosy colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. Nose is fresh, but no way abundant. Taste is absolutely dry, some orange blossom, nice acidity, elegant, like very light white Rhone, little weight and a suprisingly long aftertaste. Though certainly a fine wine, somehow disappointing at € 56 a bottle: not an overwehelming experience |

1/5/2021 - Erik Snel wrote: 86 pointsEnd of the rosé season (?) with this slightly disappointing cru classee. Fresh red fruit and peach with a modest bunch of spices and minerals. It’s all there but no magic or fireworks like I once encountered in their Provence White.’ |

6/28/2020 - exonian Likes this wine: 88 pointsA light copper with hints of pink ( oeil de perdrix?) , with definite glycerous legs in the glass. There is a medium nose of white flowers, sea shells, Watermelon, peach puree, marzipan, strawberries, vanilla and rhubarb.Acidity is still medium , with flavours of dry peaches and saline orange, leading into a long finish of dry chalky salinity. A good accompaniment to food, I just don't feel the love for this wine - just too austere and joyless. Maybe, another year will soften the hard edges? |

10/13/2019 - Wineloon Likes this wine: 93 pointsThis is really lovely. Enticing peachy, floral nose leads to a lovely waxy spiced vanilla flavour with more honeyed, stoned fruits. Nice graininess to the tannins on the finish which is long with hints of almonds. |

8/25/2019 - exonian Likes this wine: 88 pointsPale Provencal onion-skin pink in apprarance, the nose shows white flowers, peach, flintiness, and warm red berries. Bone dry with some hints of tannin, and medium plus acidity, there are flavours of unripe peach, grapefruit, redcurrants, and Maraschino cherriies , with a dry mineral finish. A refreshing wine for food but uncompromisingly dry and acidiic , making it less suitable to drink on its own. Maybe it will soften a little next year. |

To be clear, I am referring to a bottle of the chateau branded Equipage. Sharp in the mouth but not crisp, a bit chemical rather than jammy, some bitterness. |

The event got postponed by a year and then didn't get used (really convoluted story). I finally got this out recently, maybe around June 2016, and light must have gotten to it at some time. And it is now trying to be salvaged with some ripe pineapple and peaches to see if I can get anything from it. |
