If you are a fan of Spatlese with some age on it and have a bottle of this, not a bad time to crack it.The cork notably was 90% soaked through and this has been stored on its side in appropriate humidity in a 55F cellar for at least the last 7 years. |

She had detested the first one, a Donnhoff Kabinett. We both loved this one, much more our style- full in body but dry and a very distinct acidity cutting through the orange peel/lime curd. The finish was long and still a fresh wine though over eight years old with a good few years to go yet. |
