Bright acidity is at the fore with fresh raspberry and redcurrant flavours, green pepper, some (developing?) tertiary complexity with thyme and clove. Firm tannins and food friendly grip. Will unwind and improve as tannins integrate. |

The palate is honeyed with pineapple and cherry, then lifted by a bright acidity with lemon bitters into long, mineral finish and a herbal edge (think Ricola Swiss herb drops). My favourite Dönnhoff from a mixed case. Young though - plenty of scope to develop. |
