Purple red colour, still youthful looking. Plum and cedar on the nose, blackcurrant leaf, bit dusty. Bright acidity is at the fore with fresh raspberry and redcurrant flavours, green pepper, some (developing?) tertiary complexity with thyme and clove. Firm tannins and food friendly grip. Will unwind and improve as tannins integrate.

Classic cool climate Cabernet nose of cassis, green bell peppers, fresh fennel and toasted spices. The herbaceous and black fruit character filled the entire palate which is fresh and surprisingly elegant. Not forceful at all but structure is somewhat tight. Medium to full-body. For now, the tannins are prominent, 3-5 more years of aging is needed for the tannins to fully integrate into the elements.

Very full bodied and heavy. Lacking energy, acidity and fruit vibrancy. Balance does not appear to be there. For being 14% ABV is felt a lot more. Will set aside for couple years

Wonderful full bodied yet drinkable, good to drink now BUT would benefit from keeping in bottle for few years
