5/10/2024 - AMC Eagle wrote: 93 pointsDecanted for over 30+ minutes. Medium garnet in colour with a light brick red rim. Nose of spicy pomegranates and red cherries, red plums, with some earthy forrest floor. On the palate, noticing some red cherries, strawberry fruits, plums, and a touch of dark unsweetened cocoa. A few mentioned the "rusticness" of this, and I tend to agree...has that bit of a CdP grenache-ness to it. Medium bodied with a medium+ finish. |

4/28/2024 - drwine2001 wrote: NRDeep saturated ruby. Bursting with black fruit, flowers, and herbs. Medium weight, gorgeous suave texture with deep soil base. Vivid, ripe blackberry and blueberry, licorice, fine acidity, and round unobtrusive tannins. I have been critical of this cuvée before, but this is as good an example as I’ve had. This is the third 2020 Mugnier wine I’ve tried, and the depth and volume of fruit in all of them have been breathtaking. No need to decant during this fruit forward stage. |

4/1/2024 - 831900_ Likes this wine: 93 pointsDried strawberry, earth, ultra light raspberry jam, and a touch of dark fruit on the nose. Pleasantly light and encouragingly spicy in the mouth, with a long light tingly finish. Better after decanting for a few hours, and held in the fridge overnight just fine. 2 people found this helpful, do you? Yes - No / Comments (1) |

This wine is no exception, and the note of white pepper is really prominent on the finish. In a lovely spot and I’m going to try and source a few of these. |

1/28/2024 - RobinTeo wrote: 93 pointsThe one with Luca Roagna (Teochew Paradise): The Marechale is always a very nice one to drink. Had this vintage before but today's showing was much better. Pretty on the opening with mulberries, violets, some earth and a very light touch of dried red fruit. Palate showed some rusticity, with damp earth, spices and cherry undertones. Palate shows quality here with elegance and depth that culminates in a really balanced mouthfeel. Well, if it smells like chambolle, tastes earthy and rustic yet has balance and elegance, it is Mugnier Marechale. Very stoked that to have called Mugnier from the get go. |
