2006 Mollydooker Shiraz Carnival of LoveMcLaren Vale more |

This is a big wine, and to be fair, I decided to taste Carnival shortly after my first taste of the Bella's, which had had an hour to open up. There's nothing subtle going on here: a flood of fruit, with smoke and tar followed by a long finish. I decided to let the bottle sit overnight and stick to the Bella's. After sitting this wine is far more interesting: a much softer but still flavorful drink. I really enjoyed this wine. |

Starts out a little hot with alcohol that blows off after an hour and settles into a nice full mouth of fruit. I noted a little citrus around the fruit and a wonderful finish. This wine is a real treat. Carnival is a far more robust drinking experience in comparison. |
