Wednesday, May 9, 2012 - 1st Annual Chablis and Spot Prawn Dinner (Chez Rasoul): Light to medium straw colour. The nose here even more classic than the 05 with pure notes of white flowers, loads of salinity, citrus and minerality. Palate is much of the same with racy, intense and mineral driven flavours with razor cut acidity and perfect balance. While the 04 and 05 are both excellent, I’ll give the slight nod to the 04 for just being hair more classy and complete. Similar to the 05 this is beautiful right now but years to go. Outstanding.
