Friday, May 8, 2015 - Friday Night Double Blind Tasting $40+ (Bin 75): Midnight black core with tiny reddish violet rim; fainter nose, draws you in just like the light in the room, dark chocolate, slight jam of dark fruit, tobacco- chewing, dense and brooding, slight menthol, smoke; bigger on the palate, full, dense, sweet dark fruit, prune, sweet initially then the density kicks in, tannins are really reasonable, raspberry, glycerin, good delineation, well aged though still young; called '05 Rattlesnake Ridge Petite Sirah.
