Still holding well. Bouquet of rasin and stonefruit. Color holding ruby red. Tones of sandalwood, black cherry. Outstanding still and may hold longer tanans very mellow acid well balanced. Enjoy

The wine is a deep maroon color. The fairly straight forward nose has brambly berries, vanilla, black pepper, dark bittersweet chocolate, camphor, and spicy oak. This has medium to full body, moderate tannins, and good acidity. On the palate the wine seems a touch thin and driven by the oak related elements with sweet berries coming in from the sides providing needed sweetness. The finish is a touch short and again highlights the spicy oak and sweet berries. For a Rosenblum wine, this could use a bit more extraction and depth. A decent week night Zin to be consumed over the next couple of years.

Dark garnet. Inviting bouqute of sandalwood and spice. Tons of dark cherry and spice. Finish long lasting and solid. Great now not sure if I would let set more but I will try next year and see.

Bing cherry appearance; ripe but doesn't feel highly extracted; smooth, creamy mouthfeel with notes of cherries and chocolate, blueberries and blackberries, hints of prunes and camphor, back-notes of graphite and spice; moderate finish. Structurally sound and well integrated but expected more.

Venturi'ed then decanted for 2 hours. Not as much bouquet as many Zins. Is drinking well right now. Nice smooth tastes of dark fruits & cherries, cinnamon and a hint of chocolate.

Deep maroon color. Brambly berries, vanilla, black pepper, and dark chocolate on the decent but not very expressive nose. Fairly full bodied with solid, ripe tannins and nice acidity. Fairly reserved on the palate for a Rosenblum zin, especially one from Rockpile. Berries, pepper, chocolate, and oak are the main elements on the palate. Decent length on the finish, but again it is a bit light and shows chocolaty oak. Hopefully this will add some weight and the oak will integrate with some cellar time, but I wouldn't hold my breath. A decent week night Zin but unfortunately not too much more.

Deep maroon color. Brambly berries, cracked black peppercorns, vanilla, spicy oak, and dark chocolate on the nose. Full bodied with solid tannins and good acidity. Chocolate, spice and berries dominates the palate. The finish is of decent length but shows a touch extra oak and a bit of alcohol. Hopefully a bit of cellar time will help fill out the finish to help hide the excess oak and alcohol. Good now, potentially better in 6 months.

Decanted for three hours. This wine is in a genuinely beautiful place right now, with the generous oak far better integrated into the even more generous fruit. Jammu, sure, but balanced, without a trace of heat betraying its 15.3% alcohol. Better yet, this is at Costco now so the price has dropped to about $26 from the old $35 level. I'll be buying more.

Not the robust Zinfandel I expected from Rosenblum. Decent flavors, but still a disappointment

Great Zin for the $19 sale price I paid. Nice spice and fruit flavors that paired well with BBQ marinated sirloin steak and burgers.

Very fruity, nice first impression but tastes like hi alcohol despite label of 14.5. Lacks depth and balance on finish but quite quaffable...

Lots of fruit and pepper. Not complex but good flavors and a long finish. Doesn't leave me wishing we had it in our cellar but it's pretty good.
