Nice merlot. Cherry/oak nose, nice dark purple hue, drinking nicely at this time-- berries and oak prevalent with nice finish. Description on back label seems accurate to me. Waterbrook WA-- nice product and even nicer prices!

Spring Bacchanal with Winemaker Ken Wright (Roti Roppongi, Tokyo, Japan): Cream, vanilla, spice, confected plum fruit over cedar notes. Concentrated, slightly off dry, ripe, plummy fruit. Smooth textured with fine, talc like tannin. Mouth filling long finish but a certain anonymity. Perfectly fine, well made wine.

Popped and poured and was impressed with nose and flavor. Over the next several hours the flavor weakened which was very surprising to me. Still a nice wine, but left me confused.

Consistent with my previous notes though the finish lingers more where the dark red fruits and mocha intertwine. Served with beef and pork raviolli. Excellent merlot with an excellent price tag. I have become a fan of this one.

Two hour decant. Medium dark ruby complexion with an aroma of maraschino cherries and hints of leather with a tad of vanilla. Dark red fruits, with some dark cocoa and leather on the palate; oak is present along with some tannins; medium finish and focused. Got a great deal on a six pack which merits this one of the best deals I've come across by, hence a terrific QPR wine.

Clear medium ruby red color. Dusty dried cherry nose followed by a middle weight palate of more of the same dusted up w/a little oak spice that's followed by refined but firm tannins that stretch out the finish a little. May get better in a year or two but right now it's not rolling my socks up and down.

Mild evergreen, earth and aromatics and black cherry. Moderate tannin provides structure and finish has a cocoa flavor. This merlot contrasts with many silky fruit heavy Merlots. it is lean and a little tight but balanced and flavorful.

Good, yet simple, domestic Merlot. Good value at ~$15 with tax. Not overly complex, but good for the price point.
