Coravin fun - new arrivals (My place, Kent Street): From Coravin. Rich ripe black fruit, plenty of caramel and vanilla, slightly oxidised notes, cream, leather. In the mouth it's juicy with ripe black fruit and a slight redcurrant underpin. Vanilla, leather, sweet spice.

Haut-Medoc lunch (Bel & Brio, Barangaroo, Sydney): The appearance is clear and medium ruby in colour. Tears are visible.
The nose is unclean with aromas of TCA (wet cardboard), bottle-age (new leather), and herbal and mineral characters (eucalyptus, menthol).
