Lighter pinot but well constructed on the palette and in the nose. Notes of leather, cedar, vanilla aromas followed by strawberries, cherries, oak, and tobacco tannins. Slim and trim. Enjoyable.

This was an all-around enjoyable wine. On the nose this possesses mushroom, forest floor, faint notes of pine needles, and damp soil. This is a medium bodied wine with a very round profile of tannins and acidity. Nice fruit balance including lots of strawberry and raspberry, licorice, and mushroom. With an average finish on this wine, it is a solid effort that should drink well through 2018.

Deep ruby color. New World aromas of cherries, fire-roasted fruit, graphite, moss, sawdust, and oak spice. Full bodied, rich, powerful, and nicely textured, the palate has ripe cherry fruit, dried roses, good length and depth, a touch of glycerine, and a sappy, woody finish. This is very good, if a bit extracted. A little bottle age should refine it.

Decanted for 90 mins and found a very fragrant and inviting nose typical of a good pinot. On the palate we found unsweetened and tart fruit with some edgy bitterness and tannic astringency. The lengthy finish continued with mouthwatering and bitter tartness. Perhaps an additional 2 or 3 years of cellaring may save this wine but cannot recommend at this point as this definitely was not an enjoyable experience.

Deeper ruby color all the way to edge; slightly closed and somber nose of dark cherry, a hint of orange and nail polish; thick, viscous, cherry, a little fat, kind of just sits on the palate.

Dark ruby in the glass. Intense, rich nose of ripe fruit and a hint of earthy mushroom. Beautifully balanced, fruit-forward, and creamy/silky mouthfeel with dark fruits, especially cherry, and a hint of vanilla and spice --maybe a little bit of orange upon opening. This wine has a depth and intensity normally experienced with more mature wines. Definitely a hit at our house! So glad we have a couple more bottles. Loved, loved, loved it!

Nice easy to drink wine. Dark cranberry red in color with medium length legs. On the nose nice notes of raspberries and cherries and on the palate good fruit forward tastes of cherries and raspberries. The only negative I have for the wine is the length of the finish, a little short otherwise a good wine.

Cherries on the nose, palate is smooth with darker fruit, coffee, and good acidity with just a trace of tannin. Delicious and very drinkable. The alcohol is over 14% which is the only draw back

Vivid ruby. Muted fruit. Sweet but not overly so with long soft tannin finish.

So good it made me get back in cellar tracker and start writing reviews. Remarkably silky with bing cherries. Delightful

Fruit is muted. Darker, some dirt in the palate. Round mouth

Decanted and drank over a couple of hours. Young and vivacious. Good, just not exceptional.
