Smooth, fruity, quite relaxed with good length but so smooth and enjoyable. A great wine. Gentle and generous giving what it is meant to offer - perfection

In a great spot. Quick double decant for sediment. Open almost from the start. Village level weight. Excellent silky texture. Nice balance between tertiary aged character and primary fruit.

Sadly too much sulphur that did not blow off and carried over to the palate. Something nice was hiding in there but the sulphur made it a struggle to drink Big bummer.

Krydder (pepper, grønne urter) over fin jordbærfrukt. Litt skogbunn. Fløyelskaitg konsistens i munnen, herlig spicefølelse i ettersmaken. Deilig burgunder!

Garnet, clear rim. Nose of wet leaves following through on the palate. Linear with developed tertiary flavours. Pleased and looking forward to opening the other bottle in a year or so...

See through ruby, slight orange rim; candied strawberry, oak, watermelon, sour cherry; firm tannin, slight bitter mineral in the back, herbs, sour cherry, piercing, young but leaning out, almost red apple skin, plum skin, fresh mineral finish, didn't get any spice; good.

Tuesday Night Double Blind $40+ (Alpharetta, GA): Pale red with pale rim; sulfur, strawberry, intense sour reddish pink fruit, solid wine under all of the sulfur; super sappy mid, fresh, mineral, great acid; delicious- Grivot.

Deep cherry and spice on the nose & palate. Still a slight oaky and reductive note, but feels much more together now. Good acidity keeping the balance light & fresh.

Luminous pale wine in the decanter, flashing a pink meniscus. First hit is a cheesy barnyard aroma, then strawberry. Same intense fruit on tasting - including rhubarb, plus minerality & acidity in enticing balance. Negligible tannin. Smackingly long finish of strawberry as a parting gift.

Good VR, if still very young. Asian spice, dark fruit, and silky tannins. Elegant but with plenty of punch. Very savory and more-ish. Lots of upside here.

Meilleur qu'une bouteille bue il y a un an - les tannins se sont assouplis et on est face à un vin soyeux, au nez expressif, à la bouche caressante, légèrement acidulé et assez équilibré pour un village. La complexité équivalente à son rang.

Tuesday Night Double Blind Tasting, $40+ (Bin 75): Beautiful color, explosive perfumed nose. Palate has just the right balance of sweetness and cut of acid. This wine never disappoints, and didn't again tonight. My WOTN and group WOTN from a pretty strong lineup.

Dark red in color, awesome nose after half an hour in glass. Ripe dark red fruit, lots of foral notes, very spicy and oak not intrusive. Palate aready approachable, not as concentrated as the nose but still got great energy and very good for the level. Lovely village.

Friday Night Double Blind Tasting $40+ (Bin 75): Super light lake core with pale rim; reductive, liquid limestone, really bright red fruit, leaner, cranberry, softer tannin but so much mineral; should age well for mid-term aging though I'd probably be surprised how long it will last; delicious.

Deep ruby red, clear. A bit of funk on the nose, with cherry, strawberry, mushroom, black pepper. Light acidity and tannins. Beef broth, cherry, mushroom, anise on the palate. Moderate finish. Almost RRV in character, but light and lean. Good stuff.

Yiiiiowwwww lean and mean, Frenchy Funk galore... Some lovely spicy fruit notes swirl in and out, and funk/brett for sure. Pretty lean on the palate leaning more towards just under-ripe strawberry and cassis. Nice with food tho, food a must, cut nicely thru a braised pork ragu pasta.

Tuesday Night Double Blind $40+ (Bin 75): Pale red almost pink to the rim; a little reductive with plastic, sweet tart, cherry, strawberry, confected and youthful; fatter fruit, sweet with lots of sour cherry, highly tensile structure, taut; clean and delicious, would love to taste in 10 years.

Popped and poured. Red cherry and strawberry aromas and flavors with some classic Asian five spice aromas. An odd musty, Brett-driven element stayed with the wine, however, from start-to-finish and never went away even after two+ hours of air.

Nice, fruity nose with hints of perfume. Some oak. woody forest floor. Does it lack some immediate fruit? Well-structured palate. Balanced fruit and oak. Some grip and a good length. Very classic, but some roghness to it detracts.

From Barrel - you can still detect the malolactic fermentation on the nose. Nice weight to this, good mouthfeel. High level of acidity and intensity - very promising for a village wine.
