No detailed notes … decanted an drank over the day. Smooth and well integrated. Nice nose and medium finish. Enjoyable on it’s own and with a grilled steak.

Did not decant this time. The wine looks inky colored. The legs are medium. There is light sediment in the bottle. It smells like cherry with a light pleasant floral aroma, some forest floor and light toast. The tannins were light and the finish was medium. This was a cabernet with so much to offer and the price was so low.

Decanted for 45 minutes. Color is a dark purple. Tannins are medium. The fruit aroma I think has faded somewhat. The wine is fresh and has all the components of a well made cabernet.

This specific bottle is definitely past its prime. While it tastes okay, the bouquet suggests that the wine has started to turn. One bottle left, and will open soon—not keep any longer.

I was pleasantly surprised that this wine was still going strong, but it has been well cellared. The red and black fruits are well integrated and showing some age that adds some elegance. I think it is at or just beyond peak. Drink up and enjoy.

Maturing nicely - picked at the right time and night(was craving a cab), this Wine Access purchase proved to be a good investment. Rich and decedent with a peppery, spicy nose. Loaded, it has every exciting element that I look for in a properly aged cab. Dense fruit with a slight mouth puckering edge giving way to dynamic intense fruit flavors accented by black pepper, anise, cocoa and a nearly never ending finish. A very exciting wine...

Much improved over the last 4 years! Nose is full of promise, with Leather, cigar box, barrel wood, black berry and dark chocolate on the nose, translating onto the palate. Mouthfeel is luscious, flavor profile is muscular and well balanced, supported by ample, fine grained tannins. Mid palate is worth lingering over and the finish resoles nicely. Pairs wonderfully with bloody, smoked beef. Drinking very well now and is expected to gain even more complexity with good cellar time.

Nose of black fruits and spice. On the palate, blackberry, black currant, cherries, spicy oak. Long finish with plenty of grip. Still primary compared to other vintages. Drink with a decant or continue to hold.

Popped and poured. Nose of sour cherry, currants, espresso, and menthol. On the palate powerful with black fruits, red currants, spice, mint, and cedar. Long powerful finish with lots of grip. Drink with a decant or continue to hold. No rush.

Excellent QPR for a Napa Cabernet! Not overblown, but still tons of cassis, black cherry, with some cedar and tar. Integrated tannins. Came together nicely over the 3 hours it was open. Excellent now, but will likely go a few years. Drink now-2017.

this is an outstanding wine that needs some additional time in the bottle or an 1 or so decant. It just takes some time to open up and reveal sweet fruit of this cabernet. Decant for an hour or so or let it rest in the cellar for 3-5 years.

With the warm summer weather it has been awhile since I had a decent bottle of wine with all the parties and magnums of fun wines meant for non-serious drinking. It's all good though but we finally had a quiet Sunday night on the lake so I reached for a nice Cali-cab and it was really singing. Perfect ripe fruit, classic notes of cassis and bit of cedar and velvet smooth tannins. Did a 1/2 hour decant and chilled a bit to handle the 88 deg heat on the boat. Great QPR at $33 from Wine Access and glad I have two left.

How this winery remains "off the radar" I don't know, but I'm happy that it does (more for me). This particular bottling remains deep-to-opaque crimson in color and the nose remains immediately expressive of black currants, tar, coffee, clove and cinnamon. It is a full-bodied wine which is round on the palate, with medium fine-grained tannins, well-integrated oak and well-integrated alcohol (listed as 14.5%). The flavors mirror the nose and the solid middle palate leads to a medium-length, smooth finish. I WILL AGAIN say that Levendi does not simply put ordinary wine into its gorgeous bottles...the beauty is backed up by the "brains"! Drink now-12/22.

Powerful stuff. Great nose of dark fruits with hints of menthol and spice. On the palate, great flavor of black currant, sour cherry, cedar, and spice. Finishes long with sturdy tannins. Great structure will age well, great bargain.

Wow! What a wine. This wine has all the components of a great cali-cab. Dark, inky, sweet tar-leather-tabacco, with a hint of coco powder. With a price point of $30 buy all you can, this wine will drink well over the next 5yrs.

I echo RODSJUICE's assessment of just 5-days ago. I think another year in the cave will allow this 2007 cab to emerge with all its component parts harmoniously blended. Tonight, after 3-hours breathing in the bottle, its nascent virtues are still competing for ascendancy. I expect a 24-hour vacuvin in the fridge will tame the struggle somewhat. But not completly. Only time can do that.

2 hour decant. Nose was immediate and big full of aromoa's of vanilla, oak, blackberry. 2 more hours later and on our last glass noticed the intensity of the nose to be fading away. Got more black cherry. Palate full bodied and firm. Tannins still showing. Bold lingering warm finish. This will certainly improve with more time. 5,13,15,7=90
