Better than previous bottle, with balanced acidity this time. Palate still dominated by rich red bramble fruit, not jammy. Very nice with smoked paprika burgers and manchego.

Enjoyable wine but perhaps a little sweet, even after three hour decant. Aromas of red bramble fruit, dried flowers, and vanilla. Flavors similar with some boysenberry jam, nice spicy tannins, long finish, but a little lacking in acid. Still, pretty good.

Decanted for an hour. Aromatic big nose. Full bodied with a smooth texture. Blueberry, blackberry, vanilla all in here with a nice lasting finish. My last bottle. Great value Zin. 5,13,15,6=89

Poured into decanter. Nose predominant oak, raisins, current. Palate is mouth puckering tart full of bing cherry. This bottle did not show very well. 5,12,14,5=86

Some freshness and it is red-fruited, at least, so I'm perplexed as to why there should also be overripe notes and port notes, and the red fruit is a bit candied. Missed the mark, though I could still drink it I think.

Appearance of the wine was garnet with medium legs. It was very easy drinking, due to not much complexity. the nose was full of dark fruit - kind of jammy. On the front of the palate were blueberries and cherry vanilla. The finish was quick yet filled with hints of cherry and black pepper. Definitely, a very approachable wine.

Popped and poured. Great nose. Palate is full bodied with a smooth vanilla texture. Blueberry, blackberry, great balance and firm lingering finish. A very nice everyday drinker with a great QPR. 5,13,15,6=89

Nice everyday Zin. Went well with beef fajitas; enough body and the right amount of fruit for dinner with the family. I'll certainly get more if I get the chance.

Very nice California Zin for the price. I opened this one during the week after a long day at work, but I could easily bring this out for a dinner with friends. Dark fruit (cherry, blackberry and dark plums) with a touch of fennel and a little pepper on the finish. Medium finish that was fairly smooth on opening and got more so with a little time.

This is such a good zin for the money. Dry creek knows how to do it. It's not super complex and mystical its just a good drinking zin. Picked it up for 17 bucks and will look for more.

Nice. Needs about an hour. Opened a few bottles and found that only the real Zin lovers enjoyed it.

Not a very exciting zin. Overly dry finish.
