Tried two bottles on separate occasions. Let it open for several hours. Nice on the nose. Very classic St Emilion. Fruit on the pallet. There's just something off balanced about it. Will probably not buy again.

Gang of 4 in Covid19 times; Bordeaux right bank (@ RW): In the bouquet some smoke and green herbs. Also red berries. On the palate red berries and unripe dark berries, chocolate, firm acidity and sticky tannin. Give it another 5 years of ageing. 89 – 90.

Deep ruby in the glass. Some black fruit accompanied by baking spices and tobacco on the nose. Tart palate, coarse tannins. Feels quite disjointed and ends in a bitter aftertaste. Not the best St Emilion on the charts.

Dark purple, full bodied, high ABV Fragrant lilac, some vanilla, red licorice. Expressive nose! Astringent and tightly wound. Tart red apple, un-ripe plum Still coming off as youthful. Give this another 5 years or so and it should settle into a nice drinking window.

2017 Grands Crus Classes of St. Emilion, nose of red cherry, forest floor, and roasted coffee must, same on the palate, medium/big body, tasty, needs 4 years to peak drinking window, medium amount of good, soft tannins, and a long finish.

Coffee and toast, doesn't match the label picture so maybe not the right wine? On day two. Fruit, spice, soft, there is allot going on but day two hasn't helped it come around.

At the very beginning of it's drinking window, but already enjoyable. Medium body, good complexity, fruity and medium nice finish. Will probably get better within 3 years.

Medium bodied, firm, tannic, bright, crisp, red berry, spice and espresso oriented wine that needs at least another 5 years or so to come around. I prefer the riper, softer, 2009.
