Pretty, citrusy nose. Some dissolved CO2, a nice slightly effervescent tingle. Very dry, green apple, lime, mineral-driven wine, high acidity, clean finish. Understated, yet really good in a somewhat angular package.
Day 2: Has improved a bit. Magnolias on the nose, reminded me of Malvasia. Also seems a little sweeter/rounder, not as steely and angular, yet retains nice structure and minerality on the finish.

Pale green color. Nose has green apple, mineral, tangerine. The palate has some spritz, lots of minerality, a little herbal, apple, citrus, tangerine. Nothing too complex here, but some nice fruit on the palate with good minerality. Nice find.

Pale yellow color. Fresh nose with carbonic traces, minerality, wet grass/forrest floor. On palate it' s mineral and dry, with pear and watermelon flavours. Very refreshing and better than expected.

Clear gold with lite viscosity in the glass. Tangerine, lemon, Asian spice and wet lilacs on the nose. Lite body with present citrus and spice on the palate. Mouthwatering and structured. Med-short finish.

Nice nose of grapefruit and lemongrass with some minerals. Tangy and spritzy with a lovely intensity of lime/citrus fruit. Quite succulent and fresh with some mineral notes on the slightly sweet, grippy finish. A fun wine to quaff with tapas.

Spain and Portugal at Craftsman: I have no idea what his is, but it was pretty nice despite being a little sweeter than the other whites. Not showing much on the nose. Plenty of flavor in the mouth with good balance. On the simple side, but enjoyable nonetheless.

Tangerine aroma. Fizzy palate with yeast, stones and a bit of Bayer's children's aspirin. Firm structure, pleasant drinking, but not much depth. At $19, it's pricey for what it is.

Green apple, hay, cheap beer nose with a bit of spritz. Tart apple and lemon palate with something reminiscent of Pabst. Stony, sour finish that worsens with time. This just seems underripe and reminds me of acid reflux and it was the first wine of the night. Not even lemon caper pizza could tame this. Ugh.

Monthly Tasting Group LTB 2012-03; Northern Spain white wines (By IL): Light yellow. Expressive bouquet with acidity and mealy apple. On the palate a little bit sparkling, tart lemon and a little bitterness in the finish. Not very tasty wine.

Very nice Txakolina. Citrus, minerals and slight fizz. Good balance of acid. Perfect summer drink. Started a festive night of tapas with two of these.
