An impressive, well aged Riesling which has resided in my cellar since early 2013. Probably the tightest cork I’ve ever seen, unable to open it with an Ah-so puller, which I damaged in the process, and managed to remove it with a standard “screw” device. Reflects a deep lemon color, with a medium body and medium alcohol. Poured into a chilling carafe to allow it to settle and aerate. Medium plus aromas of sea spray, white rock, citrus, sour apple, and peach. Initially hits the palate with sweetish, juicy, ripe and creamy flavors of lemon, lime, peach, apricot, and green apple until it hits the back of the palate as the tart acidity, saltiness, and minerality all kick in for balance to support a very long, satisfying finish. Seems to be drinking near peak, and unlikely to improve with further cellaring. Should cellar for another 2-3 years.

Acid haus (Stanley Street Gallery, Sydney): Cream, apricot, peach, custard apple, quite rich. In the mouth it's off dry with botrytised notes married to green apple. Medium plus length and some mid and front of moot palate grip. Hmm.

Acid Haus (Art & Design House, Wiliam Street): Slightly oxidate, cream, stone and orchard fruit. Slight honey…Green apple, tart with some phenolic grip on the mid palate. Long. Okay

This is rockstar. White stone fruit, some lychee, some restrained exoticism, mineral streak, great balance and acid. Perceived RS but finishes pretty dry. A great food wine. This should get even better with time but an awesome drink now.

Au Filet, à l'aveugle. Un superbe nez floral, la bouche est très fraiche, élégante, un peu tendre, c'est délicat, fin, un pur délice! J'étais en Alsace mais sur un Gewurtz! 92-93 pts

Shiny brass colour. Bright aromas of golden apple and sweet lemon. Off-dry with mouth-watering acidity and an enticing creaminess. Rich, honeyed yet vigorous. 19,4 gr/lt residual sugar.

Big and powerful, I would guess quite a bit of botrytis. Frankly, I liked the "regular" Riesling more - this being a bit to sweet or fruity and the other having more minerality.
