Absolutely glorious swan song. Completely mature chianti classico as good as it gets. One a few weeks ago with a slowly simmered tomato sauce with beef-pork-veal meatballs and Rustichella d'Abruzzo pasta was harmony perfection. Tertiary chianti sweetness sings with slowly cooked sause with meatballs. Tonight was pizza with roasted vegetables and tomato sauce. Not quite a duet of Mimi and Rodolfo but still gracious. If you have any enjoy now.

Medium purple with minimal garnet. Nice nose of full fruit and spice with green notes. Palate is medium bright cherry and earthy spice. Minimal tannins with medium acid. Opened 2 hours prior. Try a one hour decanting next time.

Love this wine. Medium cherry red color with slight bricking around the edge. Lead pencil, tar, black and dark fruit. Some eucalypus or menthol. Palate is beautifully balanced. Not sure how to better describe the mouthfeel; it's firm structure, yet soft.

Deep red colour with a blue red rim and a still youthful nose showing sweet cherries and not fully integrated wood. Austere tannins on the palate with lots of fruit and a nice long mineral sweet finish. Best 2021-2036.

Vi drack detta vin till en hjortytterfilé med murklor, potatismos med purjolök, rödvinsås och smörstekta morötter - passade mycket bra tillsammans! Kan dock lagras några år till.
Better balanced than previous bottles. Still a bit too modern for my taste (plush from the merlot and wood touch somewhat too obvious for chianti), but in harmony now.
Was it then time in bottle it lacked?

Decanted for 3 hours. Drank after an 04 Brunello. Nice chianti classico with notes of cherry, tobacco and leather. Plenty of tannins and acidity to keep it going for another 3-5 years.

Young deep red colour with a blue rim and a youthful nose showing cherries and forest floor and lots of minerals. Lovely intense and fruitful palate still showing lots of tannins that need time to settle down. This was showing good potential, but needs many years to open up and show my style of maturity. Keep in cellar for 5-10 years. Best 2021-2031.

Intense red fruit; spice, seems little vanilla medium-full body. Quite Long finish. I would say it is good. Coz tannin level make the wine balance. And it is cheap

This was muted on the first night and only opened up a bit after 24 hrs in bottle under vacuum. Was much better at 48 hrs in bottle. Think this needs 3-5 years to mellow out before drinking again.

Toujours une valeur sûre avec des pâtes à la Bro ... sauce tomates séchées, oignons verts, olives noires, câpres, ail, citron et un peu de crème ... Le tout surmonte de quelques crevettes à la plancha ... 😎

Pure beam of red fruit and berries, pomegranate, strawberry, and lingonberry in particular, pleasantly earthy, stalwart grip. Developing nicely and it needs another two to three years to fully resolve. Rock solid. 89-90.

Tuscan Sampler (SF Wine Trading Company): Dark ruby center. Pine resin nose. Lush, woody entry. Black cherry fruit and dry vanillin finish. Modern style, too much wood from mid-palate through the finish.

Really good chianti classico. Red berries, spice and some earthy/tobacco notes. Finish is mouthwatering yet with some drying tannins suggest this may mellow out and improve in a few years.

Medium body, bright cherry red color. Highly aromatic, red fruits, smoked oak, tobacco and peppery aroma. Cherry and fresh currants, vanilla notes, spices and black pepper on the palate, oaky on long finish. Very fresh and juicy, silky texture, complex and balanced, gentle, well integrated tannins and lovely berries acidity, very charm wine. Food friendly, best match is red meat or lamb ribs or pasta with white mushrooms sauce and cheese. Serve 18º - 22º. Drink now and next five years, perhaps longer.

An impressive earthy manure funk which mostly blows off with time. Spicey dark cherry with coarse dry tannins in the mouth, hints of funk on the finish, grippy with an acidic edge. Tried next to a 2001 Il Marroneto BdMontalcino which was much more rounded- unfair comparison

Ruby in color with medium legs. Dried fruit on the nose; on the palate, sour cherry, with a round, semi - dry finish. Was nice with risotto and seafood pasta dish with a light red sauce/broth.

Open and easy style. Straight forward aroma of earth, sour cherry, herbs, spices. Quite ordinary for a Chianti Classico. Firm and accessible tannin. Nothing memorable. OK for daily wine.

Mörkt blåröd kärna, lite mer ljusröd i kanten. Komplex doft. Initialt örtkryddor, tänker rosmarin och kanske salvia. En del läder och tobak som antyder att den har legat viss tid på ek. Lakrits och kaffe. Violpastiller. Syltade körsbär och slånbär. Lite brandrök. I munnen, syrlig och stram. Mer slånbär, en del ek. Ganska mjuka tanniner, lång. Ganska sval. Gott.

This bottle was no exactly what I expected. The fruits were almost absent, it had more cedar aromas, which is interesting but did not match the meal it was supposed to be paired with. It have put it in carafe for 30 minutes, but I believe it needed at least an hour... would try again.
