Much deeper yellow colour than I remember from previous bottles, but no sign of oxidisation: this was clean as a whistle. At first it was almost too clean: crisp and appley, but without much depth. Time, and a degree or two of warming, helped it open up into a fascinating and delicious wine, entirely dry, but with complex aromas reminiscent of both orchard and meadow. Not a truly great Loire Chenin, not tonight; but a very good one for sure. Still very fresh, too; I'm sure it will be glorious in another five years. Magnum, cork, 12%.

Best bottle of this yet. But still, this bottling has been "off" across the board. Strangely enough, it's always off in different ways. This one smelled nice enough but was quite offputting on the palate. Kind of a wet cardboard thing going on, but not in a corked kind of way.

Couleur jaune tres pâle. Nez délicat qui s’ouvre sur des arômes de fleurs blanches. Bouche précise, belle intensité avec à la fois des notes de poire et citron vert tout en offrant une belle sensation minérale. Importé par Selection Massale.

Light yellow. Subtle upfront pear, glossy entry, then leaner back end with dry, mineral finish. Between Vouvray and Saumur in style. Good cuvee consistently since 2009.

Another very nice Mineral +, although this one was very different from the 2011. I was getting nothing but white flowers on the nose - just beautiful! It was bone dry and a little thinner than I remembered the 2011. It also seemed to be missing the 'wildness' of the 2011 - it was a little more clean and pure. Great bottle.

Less concentrated and more dry than previous years. Went for several days (unsurprisingly), even gaining some body. Not my favorite vintage, but still the usual good stuff.

Nice nose. Very dry. Nice medium plus body, but the palate is lacking. There's some steely minerality but not much else.

Corked? Pretty much mute on the nose and palate.

Dry, with more than a hint of apples on nose and palate. Good food wine.

Nice acidity and very tasty. Good with food. Not very precise. Probably worth an extra couple of bucks to get a Huet.
