This bottle was a little thinner than last and also had quite a lot of green notes that I didn’t pick up in previous bottles. Very good still but not as good as last time.

It gets better with every bottle I drink, in perfect shape now and will probably hold for a couple of years. The jammyness is not as dominant as 1,5 yeas ago but it sure has a lot of blueberry and sweet fruit notes. Oak and tobacco in the background, medium acidity.

Second bottle, first half a year ago. Then, very jammy and not eapeciallly complex. Now so much more interesting, notes of cedar, eucalyptus and leather. Sure still some blueberry jam but not a problem. Developed and in prime drinking window.

Beautiful bouquet which shows some maturity, red berries and some metal. On the plate beautiful berry fruits, some eucalyptus, good acidity, a touch of sweetness and round tannin with a pleasant bite.

Dark cherries, coocked strawberries, balsamico, oak, coffe. Nice medium plus acidity, full but smooth body with a sandy tannic bite. Oak and cassis fills the mouth together with slight and refreshing bitterness in a long finish. Love it, wish I bought more of them. Note: after a couple of hours this turned a little bit vinegar in the decanter, not pleasant. I really preffered it right out of the bottle and the first hour. Rating is based on the first hour.

Deep dark colour with brick coloured rim. The nose is immediately hit by black currants galore. Then there is vanilla and raw potato - in a good way. The palate is the same and the first sips are yummy and mouthfilling. But - there is no depth or complexity of the flavour and no development so the last mouthfulls are exactly like the first apart from the chewy tannins feeling more pronounced. In my view the wine is a bit clumsy and one-sided.

Very dark, inky red - almost black. Beautiful nose - oak, red fruits, pencil and tar. Red berries, white pepper and graphite flavours with a slight oak touch. Rounded and lovely long finish. Very nice wine with a good amount of life left in it.

DTC 90 - 100 Parker Points wines (@ PvdB): In the bouquet cherries and raspberries, graphite and minerality. On the palate graphite as well, very ripe but pleasant fruits, good acidity, some sweetness and supple, friendly tannin. Good length. Very pleasurable wine.

Still very youthful but enjoyable and promising. Liquorice, mint, plum, cedar and cassis on the nose. Medium to full-bodied, round, silky-textured and balanced with bright acidity and a long aftertaste. As always an excellent cab and worthing its money.Rather on the elegant and savory side. Will improve even further and possibly will reach the quality level of the monumental 2010.

Nice savoury aromas of graphite and cedar. Young but perfectly poised with savoury grippy tannins balancing the bright blackcurrant fruit. Although quite a savoury style, it's lifted by the sweetness of the fruit with a touch of creamy oak in the finish. Excellent.
