A unique Greek variety from Epanomi (Macedonia) malagousia single is a superb wine with nose full of lemon flavour and well balanced mouth with elegant medium after taste.

2 beautiful Magnums on the day. From the master of Malagousia this was a beautiful expression of their indigenous grape and drinks now at peak. Aromatic, floral on the nose, nice acidity on the plate, fresh, expressive and full of charm.89-90 and beautiful.

Very floral and aromatic. The flowery character continues on the palate where it gains weight with notes of semi-ripe mango and juicy pear fruits. Lovely texture, rounded yet fresh. Good citrus acidity and a nice herby character on the finish. Good.

Une nouveauté constituant une belle alternative au chardonnay et au chenin. Vin herbacé aux notes de melon, de poire et de pomme. Bon compagnon des crevettes épicées (et oui, encore!).

Brass coloured. Perfumed nose of golden apples and pear. Full and creamy with good, accompanying acidity. Nicely structured with ripe yellow fruit and a persistent, long lasting aftertaste.

Medium green yellow. Very floral nose reminiscent of lilac and rose with notes of citrus. Enough acid to add refreshment to a full body. Medium long, slightly warming finish with a satiny mouthfeel.

The wine looks yellow gold colored and smells like lemon. The body is light/medium with bright texture. The wine finishes medium and medium+ acidity. Really nicely made malagousia probably the best from Greece

Excellent aromatic wine, aromas of tropical fruit (melon) with peach mingle with floral and musky aromas. Medium to full bodied for a white with medium acidity, deep flavor and long finish. A very satisfying wine.

Had it yesterday night in a restaurant and it seemed to have a quite goldish color but i may be wrong due to the light. Medium intensity nose with floral scents, tropical fruit, honeysuckle. Very refined mouthfeel with gentle florality medium balancing acidity and medium to long finish. Very elegant wine, one of the best of this Greek variety.

Medium straw. Initially restrained nose that gained in intensity with aeration. Nectarine, orange peel and tropical fruits alongside floral and grapey scents. Quite complex and refined. Med+ bodied with ripe and sweet fruit and moderate acidity. Long aftertaste. A lovely Condrieu-like malagousia that has little in common with the usually boring examples from other producers.

Medium straw color with a slight greenish edge, Aromatic nose, floral and honeysuckle. Bright acidity leads to silky tropical notes on the palate of pineapple and tart star fruit. Very nice.

Already so expressive, displaying peach, apricot, chestnut and wild flowers. Medium to full-bodied with high fruit concentration but balanced with acidity and freshness. Long aftertaste. I guess this will prove even better than the 2 previous vintages after spending 3-5 months in the cellar.

DWCC North Greece Constellation Masterclass (Montreux, Switzerland): Explosive nose of melon, white flower and peach. It reminds me a bit of a Moscato. The palate is loaded with lime, but is also spicy and peppery.

Had it for a second time in a month and my previous tasting notes are valid; a bit more fresh fruit this time. Very good malagousia.

Excellent aromatic wine!
Aromatically similar to Condrieu yet with less oily texture and body.
I could have this wine everyday.
