- Open and accessible, with red fruits, wild cherries and redcurrants at the forefront. However, the nose is a little too woody. - High acidity and present tannins on the palate. Needs more time, but probably will not get the turnaround to make fun. In my humble opinion it lacks fruit. And that would be important for ageing. - 90 points

From my perspective, this is significantly underrated in CT. The wine is drinking perfectly, with tremendous flavor and a long finish. My tasting note is really a question to other Barolo and Barbaresco lovers: if this is only a 91+, what labels are better? Please provide me your recommendations.

14.5% - Clear, med ruby / clean, pronounced intensity - sour cherry, licorice, dried petals, forest floor, tobacco and leather, eucalyptus / dry, med to high acidity, full body, high grippy tannin, pronounced intensity, med to long length. Very concentrated, young and tight on the palate. 92 now and certainly more in 5-10 years from now.

Barolo - BYO blind: Initially feek of a young and woody NW style red. Juicy, cranberries in powdered sugar, dark fruits, dried fruits, prunes, suede like forest floor. Biting tannin, covers all mouth. Nose is not yet as open as one would like. Excellent, but surely one should wait on this wine.

Really nice and really young. Loads of cherry on nose with rose petals and a bit of leather. Similar palate, long mineral finish with earthy notes. Acidity and tannin to give it a long life. Decanted for 7 hours and still just a baby. Ideally, try another in 5 years.

Pale garnet coloured. Opulent aromas of sour cherry mixed with leather and tobacco and spicy undertones. The velvety texture matches perfectly with the strong backbone. Long, rich and caressing.

DaGromis is produced with grapes from two old vineyards: one in Serralunga adjacent to Sperss and one in La Morra adjacent to Conteisa. Nose of cherry, cedar, and wet leaves. Suffering from the marginal vintage, drink now through 2020.

Jättegod Barolo som behöver luft för att verkligen leverera. Efter två timmar i karaff är den härligt fruktig, med tuffa härliga tanniner. Hög kvalitet! 92-93p

Give this wonderful barolo some time in the decanter and enjoy.

Layers of red berries on the developing nose. Some rose petals, spices and acetone. Delicate and elegant.
Med+ body and acidity with high tannins. Youthful and a bit tight on the palate. Some cooked red berries on the mid and spices on the med+ finish. Very pure and high quality Barolo but this one needs aging.

Tasting at Corkscrew Museum (Corkscrew Museum in Barolo): Appearance is clear, pale intensity, ruby colour. Legs. Nose is clean, pronounced intensity, with aromas of sweet red cherries, and strawberries. Youthful. On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium+ alcohol, fine high tannins, full body. Pronounced flavor intensity, with flavours of red cherry, strawberry, and spice. Long finish. Very good quality. Very young now. Will need another 10 years to develop. Mix of vineyards from La Morra and Serralunga.

Wow I was pleasantly surprised with this wine. 93+ Very light color and nose. Nose is smokey, cherry, tobacco, rose, cedar. Very nice nose. Flavors spicy, tobacco, autumn woods, cherry, floral qualities. Acid is quite strong. Weight is light. Would love to try this wine again in 5 years.

Gaja Dagromis Barolo is made from 100% Nebbiolo sourced from vineyards in Serralunga and La Morra. Gaja is one of the best Italian names.

Tar and flowers on the nose, but still very tannic. Had with some grilled lamb, which helped even out the tannins.

Très gouteux. Ne pas boire en premier mais très bien fini. Se goute au palet. Encore un peu jeune. Un peu sec.
