Probably resides on the side of old school. Medium bodied with bright red fruits, acid as expected but not particularly intrusive. A little funk late. Not one for the memories but drinking about right for the appellation and style.

The wine looks brick colored. The legs are medium. There is light sediment in the bottle. The body is medium. The wine has coarse texture. The wine finishes short. The wine has high acidity. I found this wine harsh and thin with not much fruit. It was drinkable, but just not my style,nor like others descriptions.

Dejligt vellavet og saftig vin fra en god producent. I næsen en del peber, røg, hø, lidt kostald og mørke kirsebær. I munden fortsat mørke kirsebær og dernæst lidt lakrids og sort peber. Frugtig og saftig vin, der passer fint til pastaretter, fjerkræ - måske kanin - og i hvertfald bare som et godt glas vin med lidt kant både i duft og smag på terrassen.

Clear ruby appearance with medium+ intensity. Nose is clean with medium intensity and notes of red and black fruit, spice and tobacco. Palate is dry with medium acidity, medium tannins, and medium body. Floral, black cherry, spice and tobacco. Medium finish.
Good wine. Well balanced.

Great QPR & perfect thanksgiving wine. Opened at noon, perfect drinking at 6pm. Bright cherry, undertones of cherry pie, medium acid, some pretty herbal notes that matched the sage and Rosemary in the turkey.

No formal notes, p&p at a restaurant dinner. Fruity and straightforward Barbera. Ripe cherries, blackberries, spices and herbs. Young on the palate, very fruity and modern with sweet ripe dark cherries with a hint of bitterness on the medium length finish. Decent Barbera, young and undeveloped. I put this in the mid-level of producers. Decent qpr, okay everyday drink, but not a singing and expressive wine with any great future waiting around the corner… (85 – 87?)

Sweet cherry candied notes, underbrush, liqorice and fairly dark fruits make up the nose and palate with a growing aroma picture developing with each open hour. Firm acidity, gentle tannins. An excellent food wine.

Tasted at Thanksgiving. Opened about 4 years ahead of consuming. Wine had really solid balance, good substance, decent complexity and length. Pretty solid wine

Great wine and great value. Beautiful fruit and minerals balanced with a silky tannin. Fuller bodied Barbera, nice and rich. A great reelection of the Piedmont terroir.

No notes on color due to very dim lighting. White pepper with raspberry and underlying blackberries on the nose. Total infanticide - in my defense, I ordered by the glass only after I saw the bottle was open. Tongue-shrinking tannins that will need at least six years to mellow, maybe more. Quite closed down but slightly green raspberry and a distant hint of chile Heat are noticeable. A pleasantly bitter finish that lasts a very long time. Should be excellent in about ten years, but a crime to drink for now. Drunk at Atmosphere restaurant in the Burj Khalifa in Dubai.

A nice fruity wine with some tannin. Not as light as one might expect. Drank with Italian appetizers at a restaurant in PHX for $40. Not a bad price. Group enjoyed the wine. Would drink again.
