Consistent with previous bottles but fleshed out a bit with some nice, tart cranberry and pomegranate flavor mixed with earthy floral notes. Juicy mouthfeel. Paired really well with some smoky and slightly spicy pulled pork.

Drank side by side with the 2015 Thivin CdB, though they came from the same cru there was little they had in common; very light ruby color, see through; nose shows more floral and tart red fruit with a hint of green, rose petals, cranberry, sour cherry, and some pomegranate, smells more like something from range Côte d'Or than a typical Beaujolais, hints of herbs and slight suggestion of pepper, somewhat lean and austere when compared to Thivin; the palate was the real shock, at first light acidic and soft red fruit this quickly gains weight in the mid coating the roof of your mouth with mineral and saturating the mid with fruit and finishing with taut tannin and acid, later focused, detailed, glad to have opened this with some age but wanting another bottle with 5-15 more years of age; interesting and complex without being showy, this is the type of wine I want to drink when I get older with a simply done lunch in a picturesque European setting.

Pretty underwhelming Beaujo. Astringent red cherries and some pepper are the dominant notes, but what bores is the hollow palate. Not flawed, just not great.

Lovely, no nonsense, enjoyable wine that doesn't necessitate having to contemplate why it is good, yet interesting enough to keep you happy. Love the acid in these bojo's

This is not the best vintage for this wine, which I've enjoyed in the past. It just seems to lack intensity and definition. I'm tempted to say it's shut down, but I just don't think there is enough there to come out the other side.

Popped and poured. Pale ruby color, almost like watered down cranberry juice. Cranberry and red raspberry notes on the nose along with a hint of fresh earth and some high toned florals. Mostly red fruit driven on the palate with medium+ acidity and medium tannins with a tart finish. Medium bodied with a juicy mouthfeel. Enjoyable now with food but a bit lean and acidic.

Clean fruit, raspberries, licorice, palate is lean & tart, with decent grip and calls you back for a second sip. Would like to see where this goes in a year or two.

Raspberry colored. On the nose, bright red berry fruit, fresh rose petals, and a hint of tobacco leaf. Very perfumed. Similar on the palate, very juicy, light bodied, and pure, but also very nice fine, smooth texture. Like cool silk. The fruit is bright and fresh, there’s a bit of spiciness underneath, and the finish is pleasantly tart and refreshing, like just barely ripe raspberries and strawberries. And despite the very accessible, easygoing, primary flavor profile, it’s quite dry and has a dusting of fine tannin, which keeps it from becoming insipid. Great quaffer—high delicious factor without requiring much thought.

P&p. Bright and fresh aromas of red fruit, flowers, and sap meshing well with black pepper and slightly smoky and tarry dark earthy notes. Fairly primary on the palate, very bright, tart, and red, in the cranberry/pomegranate/hibiscus zone, with a floral component that comes out more with air, quite pretty and graceful. A little blast of peppery spice in the finish. Plenty of acidity. Tannins are noticeable but not out of balance. Almost weightless; extremely drinkable. Characterful and enjoyable wine, and a great value. Drink or hold, I suppose.

violets and cherries on the nose - very fresh and pretty a little crunch, sweet fruit which is initially a little reticent but persistent Cherries plus something a little smoky TOuch of tannin on the finish but very much in a light style A good wine and it gets more interesting with each sip

Hyper tangy, with lots of cranberry, game, soil, all very bright, and without the somewhat green austerity of the '12, with more graceful tannins and slightly more filled out fruit, especially towards the finish.

It still had some ummp to it. Nice bright cherry and other red fruit. Nice structure. My first bouillon that I have tasted.

Light red. Snappy, light, appropriately tart cranberry fruit and some minerality.
