Consistent with previous bottles but fleshed out a bit with some nice, tart cranberry and pomegranate flavor mixed with earthy floral notes. Juicy mouthfeel. Paired really well with some smoky and slightly spicy pulled pork.

Drank side by side with the 2015 Thivin CdB, though they came from the same cru there was little they had in common; very light ruby color, see through; nose shows more floral and tart red fruit with a hint of green, rose petals, cranberry, sour cherry, and some pomegranate, smells more like something from range Côte d'Or than a typical Beaujolais, hints of herbs and slight suggestion of pepper, somewhat lean and austere when compared to Thivin; the palate was the real shock, at first light acidic and soft red fruit this quickly gains weight in the mid coating the roof of your mouth with mineral and saturating the mid with fruit and finishing with taut tannin and acid, later focused, detailed, glad to have opened this with some age but wanting another bottle with 5-15 more years of age; interesting and complex without being showy, this is the type of wine I want to drink when I get older with a simply done lunch in a picturesque European setting.

Pretty underwhelming Beaujo. Astringent red cherries and some pepper are the dominant notes, but what bores is the hollow palate. Not flawed, just not great.

It still had some ummp to it. Nice bright cherry and other red fruit. Nice structure. My first bouillon that I have tasted.
