Quite fresh color, darker ruby more maroon rim; nose shows good weight and presence, dark cherry, spice, tea, a certain meaty quality of the fruit into more of an earthy savory transition, still lots of joy to be had here, slight cedar and maybe some drying out of flavors suggesting apogee has occurred, quite textured and powerful for a wine of this level, tasty and not too complicated.

Tasted over 2 hrs -med dark red purple minimal clearing -dark cherry mineral wet soil -med acidity, med/med- weight fading tart cherry with brisk earthy notes, med/med- tannins and a very slight medicinal note -a little more lively than a bottle last year; entirely pleasant Bourgogne that is drinking well now but likely on a slow decline

I actually listened to my own advice for once, and held off drinking this again for a year. It's a nice little wine. The only thing I would change from my previous note is the drinking window. Drink now-2022.

Backward and full of promise. This is a remarkably complex entry level wine, which could give some 1er crus a run for their money. Dense fruit, bold tannin, crunchy and tight. Hold a solid year and then drink to 2027. Super wine.

Burgundy 2012 tasting (Wein Kreis Stuttgart): Colour: Light in colour. Nose: Strawberry, some earthy notes, filigree nose, very nice. Palate: Very lively & nice acidity, nice grip, lovely to drink right now even its got a long life ahead. Best Bourgogne in this tasting.

Red fruit (cherry, strawberry), nice red fruit , slight spice. Good acidity. Seems like this could use a little more time.
