DBP is one of my favorite tasting note people. He absolutely got this right. We drank with chili which may sound weird but paired well. Still like this on the chilled side. Seemed to have more....

Brassy gold. Apple, grapefruit, hint of spice nose. Full and open, mild slate, interesting apple and citrus combo. Smooth, nice balancing acidity. Very good. Ei liked.

Enjoyed this more than the bottle consumed 5 months ago. Nice exuberance and freshness on the nose with plenty of minerality and cutting white spice and acids. Fairly tart and mineral driven, and there's an interesting glue component but not to be confused with excess alcohol. Palate entry is luscious and creamy but balanced beautifully with cutting acidity. Plenty of lemon tartness here but really nice richness. Tart and puckering on the finish, but not too much depth. This isn't a very compelling Tokaji, but makes for a very solid quaffer with more depth than usual for that. That said, when considering the price, I expect some more depth than this offers, and this finds itself not a very good QPR.

MTACZAK got this one right. Very interesting and delicious. Dry with sweet fruit. Preferred when poured chilled. As it warmed, lost some zing.
