It's been almost a year since opening the last bottle but it's still one of our favorites. Beautiful nose, good acidity and just right for a warm, late afternoon at the beach.

Popped and poured. Lovely wine, which started out reserved. It eventually opened up with some Granny Smith apple, but not too tart. This is drinking well, but is balanced well enough to go a few more years. Wish I had more!

This has gotten better with age for me. Last note was about 6 months ago, and this was still pretty green. Now showing some apricot and a more rounded finish. Lovely stuff.

Hadn't thought of this for T'giving, but glad someone requested an SB. Bright straw color; lime, kiwi and melon on the nose. Rich mouth feel - waxy? Nicely blended green fruit with a slight wet stone finish. Agree with others that this is a great value.

Consistent with prior notes. Very nice wine and a strong value. Had Mike's sav blanc for the Becklyn label from this vineyard the night before -- and it was noticeably better. This has more acid and sharpness - maybe needs to lay down and round out?

Light translucent yellow color, light fruit aromas backed up with some musk. Also light aroma of fresh cut grass with morning dew. Mouth coating texture with great acidity coming in mid palate with a very long mineral finish. A happy wine.

Popped and poured, bright golden straw color. Aromas of lime slices, ripe apple, citrus florals, gooseberry, fresh herbs and an impression of clay-like minerals. Medium to medium-plus body. Expansive flavors of fresh citrus veer tropical on a palate which is completely lacking in subtlety. A touch of sweetness is cut by moderate-plus acidity, the latter element keeping this nervy on a lingering close which seems to show mild tannins...?? At any rate, this makes for delicious drinking right now and is another great vintage of Sauvignon Blanc for Quivet.
Quick comment: Can't imagine a better QPR in larger-styled CA Sauvignon Blanc for $25 (and one which is better than Merry Edwards to boot, at least for this palate).

Really nice sav blanc that was full bodied enough to pair well with grilled seabass on its own. Pear, red delicious apple and an interesting cherry syrup note on the finish. Acid is very crisp. Bit of heat noted once it warmed to room temp.

Not a huge Sauvignon Blanc fan... but really enjoy Mike's version of this wine.

Haven't had one of these since last summer. Still delicious, if just a touch softer than 8 months ago.

Another great SB from Mike Smith. Acidic, lemongrass, nice body to it too.

A fine and tasty white. A bit too fruity for sushi, I prefer sparkling but still good.

This is a really good white and certainly not your everyday Sauvignon Blanc! Great aromatics!

This is one of my favorite summer wines and this one keeps up the string. One thing though is keep it cold or it will get a bit cloying.

Everything you want in a young SB, balancing ripe, juicy citrus fruits with a good cut of acidity.
