I'm surprised by the mediocre ratings. I found this very nice. First pour from fridge is reticent. Just 15 minutes in the glass and this is blossoming quite nicely! Loads of minerality along with citrus zest and a bit of brown butter. I'll probably follow this tonight to the last drop.

I must say this was shockingly indifferent- I had looked forward to this only full bottle of 2014 I had in the cellar - had a lot of half bottles that were okay to quite lovely. The 750 seemed simply watery and thin???? I really like Moreau but why is it you have to go to 1er Cru or higher for things to rock?? Impossible to see this improve and get more consentrated really. Disappointed

Milky, almondy character. Dull, anemic. Classic Chablis lemon is nice but not enough to save this from mediocrity. I don't think this is a good value at $28; vinho verde would offer more life at half the price.

Popped and poured. Much better than the 12 version that I purchased two years ago. Still not worth the $28 + tax that I have to pay in Washington. Big fan of the 14 vintage for Chablis and this exhibits a few of those 14 characteristics. Citrus and steel, but not enough. R.O. Man kind of nailed it. 88pts.
I was very disappointed with this Moreau's entry level wine from 2012 vintage. I also tasted some of his 1er Crus, which were great and I hoped that 2012 was just some bad exception. But 2014 confirmed my suspicion that the entry level Chablis from Moreau is just very overpriced and very mediocre wine. There is only linear acidity with lime and citrus with no sense of place. Boring.

Pale yellow. Bright, attractive nose with ginger, white pepper, and crushed rock notes. Minerality and salinity dominate, with a lean frame and nice acidity. The 2014 Moreau is one of the finer Chablis Villages. This may develop complexity with age, but it will make a very nice oyster wine for the next few years.

Another delicious bottle. With about 2 hours of air this was singing. Slate, cinnamon, citrus and nice acids. Tremendous QPR, I could use a case of this.
