bought on release, perfect fill, sound cork. This bottle rich mid-palate, and good length, complex, did well with salmon with rich horseradish & mustard sauce. Not the minerally wine of 5 years ago. Personally will match this super wine with richer foods for rest of its evolutionary arc. Great wine.
I don't think this wine is premoxed given its complex nose ... its just a more mature 10-year old wine from Chablis. People used to adore this stage as it complements richer dishes. Lechet is not Le Clos and has a different arc of maturization (see Jancis Robinson's book on this published 30 years ago...)

Premox-esque bottle variation with the 2014 Côte de Léchet as I've had several quite advanced bottles and several stunners from the same case and since none were outright oxidized I've rendered mixed verdicts on this wine. Tonight is a winner, fresh and crisp, with a lovely bouquet of white flower and sea breeze. Crisply textured, fine minerality. Very good.

Chablis 1er Cru 2014 (Stock, Oslo): Gul frukt på duft, honningtoner, melon, lime. Stram stil med sjøvann og østers på smak, sitrus i retning sitron. Middels intens. Høy modning på duft trekker noe ned

An hour in the carafe to open up. Aroma of ripe lemons, yellow apples, great minerality with limestone and flint, salty sea, hazelnuts. A typical chablis on the nose. The palate, though, is what impresses me the most. Steel like acidity, phenomenal fruit concentration, salty, energetic, very long. A relatively rich style, but everything is in beautiful balance. Delicious, fresh and refreshing on a hot afternoon on the terrace.
I notice that some people have expressed concern about the cellaring potential for 2014 white Burgundy and Chablis due to the high acidity. Well, I do not share an ounce of this concern. The underlying fruit in the vintage is so incredibly beautiful with a very high concentration, and the 2014 fruit will have zero problem balancing the 2014 acidity for a long time. This wine is only at the beginning of its drinking window, but due to a slightly obsolete bottle last year, I did not dare to wait any longer with this one. Unfortunately my last bottle, but I would very much like to taste this again both 5 and 10 years down the road. 2014 shows again that this is a great vintage in Chablis! 91 points

{Bought on release, had at BBQ at DH's house; Brief note} Classic Chablis citrus and minerals, some breadth in mid and late palate with melon flavors. In a good place now.

Honeyed florals, more secondary development than expected, but my no means advanced – still quite crisp with a fine acidic profile. Likely best for near to midterm consumption.

Lovely, as expected, with good clarity. Showing rather relaxed in structure and tension. Based on this and the '14 Tribut 1er Beauroy a week ago, my thought is that Tribut's '14s are in the zone now.

Expressive nose of white flowers, citrus, oyster and sea minerals, wood spices, followed by sappy and juicy taste with fine intensity and length. Drinks well now, may keep.

The ‘14 Cote de Lechet from Tribut. What a pleasant on! Especially on these hot summers days. Butter roasted hazelnut and a whiff of oxidative notes. Doesn’t really matter when there’s also seaside and salty stone minerality, crisp lemon and fresh Canary melon. Fresh, balanced perky and slightly oily fat. 91-92 points.

Initially on the nose it's old honey and lemon with a slight herbaceous and mushroom underpin - quite forward in fact. With time, though, it settled down and became far more linear and steely. Very front to back of the mouth on the palate with citrus and honey underpin. Hmm for me on this tasting.

Tasted over 2 hrs -translucent light-med gold -sea water citrus apple -med acidity presents as a tangy edge at the finish, med weight sappy baked apple very slight oxidative note -a little more advanced than I would expect

Strågul med svakt grønnskjær. Nokså tilkneppet på duft selv etter to timer på karaffel. Ren hvit/grønn frukt, våt stein, sitrusskall. Pen men tydelig eikebruk.

Completely starstrucked by these 2014 Chablis. Lots of intens freshness burst out on opening. sweet mid summers white blossoms and developed sitrus notes. Salty stone minerals on the palate with an oily but sharp mouth feeling that is lasting and uplifting.

Opened and poured, this wine gave an excellent, youthful showing with detailed aromatics of lemon zest, oyster shell, chalk and floral notes. The color is a vibrant light yellow. The light to medium bodied palate shows impressive detail and balance. The wine gives a medium length finish with acidity that contributes to the wine focus and energy. This drinks well now for its youthful appeal and it should benefit from additional bottle age.

Très beau, classique, un bel équilibre fruit-acidité (qui n'est vraiment pas tranchante), bu seul et il brille par lui-même.
