Rich golden colour, deeper than previous bottles. Attractive nose of tropical fruit with just a hint of nuttiness. On the palate considerable minerality is evident, together with a broad, mouthfilling viscosity and good balancing acidity. A tiny bit of heat on the finish doesn't spoil what is by any account remarkable value for money, although I suspect this is at its peak now and needs drinking up.

Nice pineapple color. Aromas of honeydew melon. Creamy melon flavor. Very mouth filling and creamy. Quite nice on this rather humid Memorial Day. This is going quite well with some cold smoked salmon.
This is nothing fancy, but it is very enjoyable. For this price, I may buy up more to have around for the summer. More enjoyable to my tastes than many other white varietals I've tried.

White and tropical fruits on the nose with notes of pineapple, white peach and papaya. Spicy oak toast, fennel and earth. Quite fullbodied on the oily palate with balancing crispy acidity. Spices, minerality, slight liquorice and mid-intense fruit with creamy oak leading to an aftertaste of citrus peel bitterness. Good stuff.

This was good and nothing more. Outter edge of gold, large center that was much lighter; nose was melon, zesty, and some floral notes; palate had melon, not crisp, earthy, older more mellow fruit. After 60 minutes minerals started to show.

I expected less of this wine, but it was quite delicious. A nice, perfumed change from our usual chardonnays. Lively, nice acid, smooth, with an uncommon nose. Very good.

deep golden color. nose of flowers and white peach, decent acidity, big mouthfeel, and a super creamy finish. and, you know what, maybe i'm crazy, but i'm getting a bit of hazelnut cream on the finish. a blend of viognier, bourboulenc, clairette, grenache blanc, marsanne and roussanne.

Purchased for $9 at release. Not a great wine... but a good 'everyday quaffer' type wine. Served with chicken in a lemon-caper sauce in which I used a healthy splash of the wine. Notes of smoke, apricot and grass. On the palate the wine is angular, but went well with the food (not so by itself) exhibiting some grassy, mineral notes. Not too much apricot on the palate, I would have preferred more. Still a nice bottle for the price. But drink with food. 85-87 points.

Floral aromas, apricot which continues onto the palate. Suggestion of some lychee and some burnt aromas too. Soft, good balance from acidity alongside the creaminess.

Rather sharp - didn't smooth out as much as I remember until ate some fairly rich food. Then, it really opened up and turned very creamy - a reminder that food and wine really do affect eachother.

Desired and anticipated a little more richness. Nice floral aromatics with tropical fruit and orange blossoms. Palate was a light tropical fruit, medium body, and decent acidity. Enjoyable overall, yet not impressive.

Very nice wine - excellent for the price. A bit sharp on first taste, but really rounds out quickly. Good medium thick body with some nice floral aromas. Great with grilled pork.

Poured at a retailer tasting. Pale yellow. Muted, with no discernable aromas/flavors. Presumably corked.

Poured at a retailer tasting. Notes of pear along with faint floral and mineral tones. Flavors of minerals and tinny/metallic pear.

A little sharper immediately after opening than the 2003, but still a nice creamy wine. A little more acidic than 2003. Great for the price.
