Bordeux Style Wine 45% Merlot, 30%Cabernet Franc, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon. Immense fruit when cork was opened, could smell the bouquet several feet away from the bottle. Complex flavors with a long aftertaste. One of the best Owen Roe wines that I have tasted.

Evening at John Glas house: Nose: Buttery, mint and a little olive oil quality (after aeration). Raspberry after initial pour. Palate: Raspberry, buttery qualities and minty hints from the nose follow through on palate. Nice lengthy finish. This wine at first seemed a little much, but after some time it became very enjoyable (albeit it followed the Tournefeuille which is a tough act to follow).

Good fruit. Holding well, but drink up sooner than later.

Delicious, as has been every vintage of this wine I've tasted so far.

Heeeey, 2 corked wines tonight. $150 wasted or a screw cap and a good wine? I'll take the cap over cork.
