This is fresh and somewhat clean, but not many other positive notes here. Very mute nose, the palate reveals very modest fruit, no wood, no tannins, no complexity, just too simple. At least there are no bitter green notes. Acidity is well judged and the wine is perfectly drinkable, but lacking all sorts of other components throughout.

Lovely bright strawberry and raspberry nose. Palate has more red fruits, soft tannins, medium to light bodied and a fresh acidity. Very typical of the region and drinking at its peak, very pleasurable and decent value at £21 88 points

I often find Sancerre rouge a tad shrill and thin, but this was really nice. It pours very light, totally transparent, somewhere between deep pink and a very light pale ruby. Clearly cool climate pinot noir, reminiscent of German or Alsatian Pinot. The nose is of cranberry, tart pomegranate, thyme, crushed rock, and light whisps of spice. The palate is very acidic with a touch of tannin and a medium minus finish. Pleasant wine, though a somewhat questionable value at $30 CAD.

From the great 2015 vintage, this Pinot Noir has a pretty, pale ruby colour and the medium-high intensity nose leads with stony-smoky minerality, followed by red berry, cherry, and currant aromas, with subtle florals. It is light-to-medium bodied on the spicy, red fruited, cherry, and currant palate with elegantly structured tannins. Acids are nice and fresh, while the stony-smoky mineral notes come to the fore on the long, juicy finish. Enjoy over the next 4-5 years.
12.5% - Clear, med- ruby / clean, med intensity - red & black berry fruit, dry forest floor, spicy notes, lightly floral / dry, med to high acidity, low tannin, med to light body, med intensity, med length. Opens up nicely with air!

Pinot Noir from the Loire Valley, Sancerre to be exact.
A wine with some bottle age and it surprised me with its ripe fresh red fruit of cherry raspberry and cranberry. Also had a hint of orange zest.
The acid was low with a tiny bit of chalk tannins. Lovely pinot that can rival Burgundy and you can get for a great price.

Nez de terre noir un peu derangeant qui persiste meme le lendemain. Pinot aerien avec de belles notes de petits fruits rouges.

Sympathique.
Tout en élégance.
Très bel équilibre général.
Un peu simple par ailleurs.
Discutable à ce prix…

Hmm. Was expecting a pleasant surprise. But stays well within what it is. Some beet root and earthy components. A good Sancerre Pinot.
