Nice garnet color. Cherry fruit. Still pretty bright. Better the second day. Not really that complex, but did well with our simple roast chicken and root veg.
5/20/2021 Ditto. Decant for best results.

Medium Garnet/almost Ruby. Clear and reflective. Aromas of raspberry, cherry. A little acidic/ tart, thin body, nice fruit flavors - mstrawberry, raspberry and cherry. Medium. Finish. Paired well with duck

Twist and pour and tasted over three days, sometimes with food and also on its own. Purple color. Nose offers some forest floor and blackberries. This has an interesting flavor profile, quite different than the Lorings I have tasted over the last ten years. At first, there is a grapey element, reminiscent of concord grapes, but with a strong tangerine note. Over the three days, the fruit changes to more of a blackberry note, with the tangerine and tangerine peel note still present. Good acidity and the tart citrus notes helps balance the wine.

Wanted to check in on a bottle - nice but nothing special. Muted nose of faint cherry. Somewhat rough and tart palate of cherry and pencil lead that finishes salty and savory. Maybe this needs a bit more horizontal time - 89 now with a point or two upside.

Interesting nose as with other Loring bottles but thin with a short finish. My least favorite of the three I’ve tried. Has enough acid to go the distance but thin on fruit.

Very tart, acidic, thin and overall not a great effort by a Loring. I just had several bottles of the 2014 Gary's and it was nothing like this. Maybe it just needs more bottle time but unlikely to add weight or have more depth of flavor.

Aggressive tartness. Hard for me to enjoy. Maybe needs some time.
2nd night. No change, really. The most tart red wine that I've ever tasted. The tartness did get tamed a bit when I paired it with a Feta/Tapenade spread with crackers, and it became somewhat enjoyable. Perhaps drink this with a strong, hard cheese plate.

Consistent with prior note. Color of red purple. Scents of allspice and lacquer. Tastes consistent with scents. Very different from the prior three years of the same wine / vineyard.

Super concentrated for a Pinot. Meaty, acidic, fresh, yet it has this strong stewed fruit backbone to it. It's hard to describe - I feel like these 2015's are all tasting like this because of the small berry size. The verdict is still out as to what I really think of this vintage. Very unique. After opening, it fell apart in about an hour, so I'm feeling like this might not last in the bottle for more than a few years.

A little tart. Cherry and I did taste a faint tangerine at first. Softened nicely in the decanter over 1 hour. Not complex but enjoyable.

A bit too acidic - atyical for a Loring.
Cranberry, raspberry, cherry, cloudy, spice, bitter chocolate. Not balanced for my palate. Better with food.

Meh. Think it’s a bad bottle. Tastes like blueberry vinegar.

Caught this either with bad bottle variation or in a rough phase. Proceed with caution. (Love Loring, but this bottle was odd.)

Great, but no longer worth the $45/bottle I pay when there are other SLH and SRH PNs in the mid $20s-30s/bottle that are just as good, if not better.

Good from the get go. I have always loved fruit from Gary’s Vineyard. Ripe red fruit that is full bodied with tart cranberry.

Very nice with ripe red fruit and medium plus acidity. Finishes a bit tart but quite good overall. Drink now.

Distinct cranberry notes. First night there was a bit of effervescence, but that blew off the second night.
