Still showing youthful freshness and energy, there’s plenty of citrus and lemon and stone fruits , a little note of oak, a nice lingering finish. I’m not getting any raisin or super ripe aging notes. this bottle is seeming very youthful to me. A Really delocicious Chardonnay. Drink now or up to 2025+ or so?

Performs more like a single vineyard offering than an appellation bottling. Lemon and an infinitesimal suggestion of Nilla wafers drive the nose, but plenty of succulent stonefruit, pear, and quince energize the core of this beautiful wine. Tactile and rich yet balanced and tensile, it picks up a kiss of baking spices on the seamless finish. Phenomenal.

Nice light straw yellow. Nose: Fruity yellow apple(?), oak come out after, with a buttery note. Taste: Medium/full bodied, fruitiness follows through, acidity is surprisingly high and actually pleasant. The latter makes this refreshing and thus both ideal for gastronomical and aperitif purposes. I got it in 50% sale so a perfect QOR! Would I pay the full price? Maybe.

Slightly effervescent on the opening but softened after about 15 minutes. Pear and lemon flavors mixed with the slight vanilla from the oak barrel aging and a little butter from a secondary malolatic or leaving the juice on the lees. Have had better Ramey's from some of his single vinyards.

Just OK, and a bad QPR. This cost 2x wines of similar quality. Doesn't really excel at anything. Medium-plus acidity, medium-minus oak, medium-minus fruit. Consumed in a restaurant with 3 others, no complaints but no one expressed any excitement over it either.

Not even close to the same as the single vineyard chards. Smooth with no harsh edges. Nothing really note worthy here.. at this price point there are many comparable wines available.

Was expecting a lot more at this price point. Tyre wine seemed very disjointed and muddled. Weak fruit. It was a chardonnay that didn't know what it wanted to be. It wasn't full-bodied/oaky/buttery and it wasnt clean/crisp.

Never had a Ramey before, a shame really since they're important player in the California wine scene. Nice solid chardonnay in a restrained style. Acid on the attack, clean and crisp. Low oak notes and lemon chiffon flavors. Old school in style. Nice. Probably not the best QPR.

Been a long time since I have drank Ramey. This showed nicely, avoiding anything too modern and instead mixing in a moderate level of acidity, with banana, lemon curd, lime and medium + weight.

From 1/2 bottle. Nose has some straw, and palate has some bitterness, but this is a rich style of Chardonnay relative to what I drink. Not for oysters or steamed mussels. Better with breaded chicken cutlet -- which is the sort of dish (the level of food preparation) that this wine warrants. At $23 for 1/2 bottle it is probably a bit overpriced, but it is a nice wine.

Nose Dried raisins pineapple, with buttery/nutty notes coming at the end. 90 most pleasant.
tTaste: Fruity, buttery with acidic notes coming after and linger on very pleasantly for a good 10s. Very nice 90
This is my last bottle of this vintage and it is drinking well now. Given acidity it may have a few more years but enjoy it now

This was a touch fatter but still done in a very restrained style that Ramey is famous for. Got some tropical fruit on this.

Tasty stuff. Stylish, classic. Oak more integrated here than in the single vineyards right now.

Disappointing. I have had most of the last few vintages of this wine, but this bottle lacked the nose I remember and had a distracting sweetness.

Not as floral as most Ramey. Not memorable but good $30+ bottle. In that price range, decent value. No malolactic acid (or very little).
